i really like the scavenging aspect of the game. and it'd be cool if different survivors you found had different traits. like if a survivor you found was an ex marine he would be great at shooting, or if you found a construction worker he would be good at repairing the base, or if you found an alcoholic jerk who created nothing but trouble and you have to choose to kill him, let him go, or keep him

Great game. I've been a fan of the series. Near the end you need to to focus on strategy more the blowing off zombies heads!

Was there an update at anypoint that made all the weapons seriously underpowered? I seem to remember the .357 was always a two shot headshot kill and single for dogs not anymore? And the assault rifles are just pointless now

Anyone else annoyed that you can't switch weapons while reloading? Isn't that the POINT of having a backup weapon? It's an awesome game nonetheless.

To get too Union City on time. Research every building in Glendale, Whistler and Aspenwood. You should get enough supplies to get to Union City and skip Jonestown. I did it in 33 days, so that gives a few extra days spare. Whistler is better because of the Bow, which is the best weapon for you after the Chainsaw. Always try to get the maximum search you can, especially in the first city. In fact, you can search it all without repairing the barricade, if you are good enough. Give the guns to the survivors and keep the chainsaw for yourself.

ive beaten this game once, ONCE! and that was beacause in the first day i found 3 survivors and a magnum it was smoth sailing from there the problem i have is if your followers die and then you die they stay dead... wtf i get a second chance but they dont? so messed up lol

Equip the chainsaw as the primary, and any powerful backup (such as the bow) When the new day begins, press space to switch to your backup, it will now have 50 rounds.

Hold up, if your group was alive before the apocalypse, survived this long ALONE, and then linked up and fought off endless hordes of zombies; then how did this zombie apocalypse happen? If 5 people could do that much damage to the zombie population? So lets estimate how many people like that before this all started. I'd say roughly around 3 million. Now 3 million BAs could stop the zombie apocalypse for sure, right?
