If you are having trouble getting past the first few nights, try doing these things: Go for headshots. That should be obvious, though. Also, don't search for weapons at first. Put all your time into searching for survivors. Once you get quite a few, it will take less time to repair the barricade and leaves more time to search for weapons and more survivors.

Good weapon combo: a semi-auto/automatic (e.g. AK47/Uzi) + chainsaw. Having an automatic gun is important; even if the shots miss your intended target it will probably hit someone behind. And the chainsaw can help you clear the zeds near the barricade. And if the barricade fell, a close range weapon is crucial, as you can instantly kill the zombies that come too near, and hopefully survive another day.

This has got to be the hardest game on here. I can't survive past night 2. Night 3 seems impossible. I will accept the fate if that is how it must be

The last stand logic: Me: Alright men! There's a few more! FINISH THEM! -barricade gets destroyed- Survivors:We're outta here! -you survived the zombies and the survivors goes back- Survivors: Alright boss,what now? Me: -Facepalm-

Too many glitches in this game, like freezing, not loading after finishing a level, staying dead (lying down) when you retry for the next day, infinite ammunition, weapon not switching, etc. And the hard badge is too easy, for a really easy way, do as many headshots as you can in a level, then let yourself die, and repeat. 30 points easily.

So you want to tell me that Barret, being called anti-materiel rifle used to disable light armoured vehicles and able to achieve full penetration on car engine block or couple of persons staying in line, have to be shoot at zombie soldier up to 5 times to get headshot? What kind of bullets does this guy use? Marshmallows?

protip: always spend your first day looking for survivors and nothing else. you'll find 2-3 survivors to help you the coming night

I managed to create a glitch mid-game by right-clicking and pressing play. reset the game to the main screen and made all the zombies start moon walking

S0u7Eat3R_333 there is,but not at the end,it's the Barret,a mag-fed semi-auto sniper-rifle that can triple-kill(or more) in 1 shot,the mag has 10 bullets and the chainsaw-glitch works with it as well,so it totally kicks ass!

whew, managed both badges in one run, barely made the 500 kills though... is there an extra weapon at the end? cause my search meter kept rising even after getting the last outlined weapon...

Wow, why is this game so glitchy for me? I can't shoot, I can't reload.. I can't die? I beat this game a long time ago.. And now I can't get past Day 2.

Forget head shots; nothing works. You just pump bullet after bullet into them, heads, necks and bodies and they simply refuse to drop, so you just get over run on day 2. Utter rubbish and not worth a badge.

I think the most irritating part of this fantastic game is the fact that probably 90% of the time, I go only 1 round with the full 7 crew, then I lose at least one cause I have to search for weapons or repair. When at full Vacancy we should still be allowed to put hours into it, or it should switch to some sort of option to use hours for extra protection so there's not a risk of losing a survivor.

So I'm playing the first level, Im using a HORRIBLE pistol with bad range, but when I complete the level the dude is sitting on the floor with a freggen machine gun.

glitch found! equip as main a good damage weapon and backup chainsaw, in game equip chainsaw and hold to attack quick swich again the weapon and you will a a 99 ammo weapon :D
