On a much more positive note I finally managed to get the hunting rifle and now can use the chainsaw-hunting rifle glitch. :)

So now I'm getting stuck on something for whatever reason so now I can't shoot any zombies at the very top of the screen. Great. Just great. What else should I expect from this game that I once legitimately liked? Btw I made progress with the shotgun by abusing the reload during pause glitch. Something positive, but not enough for me to like the game anymore.

How can you beat this game anymore? I have no clue what the hell happened but now it's impossible. I have gotten up to the shotgun but it doesn't matter because there are so many zombies that I can't reload fast enough. I don't remember the game being this enraging. And if I actually bother to spend all my time healing my base (which is the only way to stay close to full health after wave 3 or 4), then you will not be able to get any better guns.

Over the course of 7 years of all the things they could have done, they either buffed all the zombies immensely, or nerfed every gun immensely. 6 round to the head to kill a zombie with the starter gun.. are you special? There is no way you can play this anymore without abusing some kind of cheat. The 2nd gun takes 2/6 to kill a zombie if you headshot... they are finally living up to the name if their company I'm ashamed of them.

day 20 the fort was at 3% i held them off but the people left.
i was the only survivor.
well... not really they tried to come back but i flipped them off and we took off. today was a good day

Super frustrating that I can almost never get a headshot when they're grouped up at the barrier. End up shooting a zombie slightly above me in the toe instead.

The game is only 20 levels so if you are getting close to the 500 badge you may want to purposefully lose it to make sure you don't end the game with 499 head shots....like I did.

Better walktrough for the game: You do not need to search for survivors more than 2 hours a day, search for weapons instead and always have baricades above 90% The best weapons are the hunting rifle and the chainsaw, do not even bother getting other weapons... Shoot for the zombies shoulders and you should get headshots all the time. Having more survivors makes repairing baricades quicker, but they are almost useless during the defence.
Search for weapons in free time (only two hours for survivors, full fix of baricades) but only wait for the 50.cal, use hunting rifle since then.

I get that they are trying for the scary gloomy atmosphere..but the game is just too dark to see. So it isn't fun to play. Sure...it looks like a Zombie apocalypse...but one that isn't fun to play.

This is not a good game. The aim is very poor, the damage done by first pistol is way too low, in order to shoot straight at all you actually have to be in line with your target, and when the zombies start to line up at the barrier, if your're aiming in the middle of the line you hit the zombies feet which does no damage.

rated 1/5. if you die, and then click retry, quite often clicking the mouse will no longer allow you to shoot ... making that hard badge an impossible badge, since re-trying the level you died on isn't always an option... for me, this is definitely a game-breaking glitch. why have a retry option if all it does it mess you around???
