I like it, but it would be much nicer if there were a way to use a few trial line types. If it were pencil and paper, I would be using dashed or dotted lines for tentative experimentation to look for logical contradictions.

only thing i dont like about this game is the "check" and "show solution" function.... When a puzzle lets you cheat without any consequence, the feeling of achivement is somewhat diminished even after completeing the level without any hints.

These have got to be the most inefficient transportation systems in existence. Can you imagine living on a group of islands where, in order to get to an island practically next to you diagonally, you have to hop across seven other completely out-of-the-way islands?

I was completely lost at what to do, so I read the "How to Play". I was still very confused, just placing random bridges everywhere. Not knowing what to do, I read the "Rules" and immediately found out what to do. I ended up completing the 1st puzzle in 2:03~. The second puzzle I completed in 0:18, and I redid the first puzzle in 0:17. Please redo the "How to Play" instructions, as well as merging some of the "Rules" into it because it will confuse players on how to play.

A reply to Fawcs: Every time I solve a puzzle, I do not guess. I am finding the solution mandated by the puzzle layout. That implies that the puzzle solutions are unique, at least for the ones I've done so far.

Lol it really is funny how every game these guys ever made has a top comment boiling down to "cool game, but how about a next button?". They responded to it once (like 8 years ago lol), saying they'd get around to dealing with feedback after finishing their "IOS platform". Guess things changed

@riverkonqueror Hashi can mean bridge or chopsticks in Japanese (depending on what kanji/glyphs are used), so good guess :)

Sometimes the selection seems to get "stuck" - I can move my mouse all over the puzzle and onto other bridges but the bridge I just created stays selected and if I click it affects that bridge, not whatever I'm actually hovering over. This seems to happen every other game or so for a few seconds at a time.

oh but wait. you don't mean a continuous path connecting all the islands together. the first puzzle, for example, has no such path. you must mean to say all islands are connected.

Beat em all ^.^ . proud of me i am. These kind of puzzles are new to me. i like them. cant wait for the medium pack to come out

On linux there exists a logic game pack which has a Hashi game, too. You can play randomly crated Hashis of differend difficulties. You also are able to customize the rules (e.g. up to 4 lines connecting two nodes). Just search for "Bridges" in your package manager and enjoy.

Loved the game. Great puzzles. One thing: I wish there was a penalty on using the "Check Puzzle" button, like maybe add some time on or something. That thing makes it too easy to use guess and check methods to find a next move.

I absolutely adore Nikoli puzzles! I powered through these and was left eagerly awaiting the next installment (be it Hashi, Yajilin, Akari or anything) :D

I ended up accidently clickin the C button which displayed all the wrong bridge resulting in me starting to cheat at level 3 making me dissapointed at myself. But i gotta say this is a really funny game it rox hard:D

The check answer thing is too tempting. In a game with this many decision/forks, as compared to simple Sudokus where it's basically process of elimination, the urge for me to check my progress, before heading too far down the wrong path, is over-whelming.

Finally, a good bridge game. I played what could be considered an earlier version here on kongregate and it was very flawed. This game is a more user friendly, better looking, and ALOT more fun to play. Thank you!:) 5/5

reminds me of chemistry though i forgot which lesson was it...where you have to connect atomic numbers or something :)
