This is a much more confusing version than the other. I really think that there should be a few tutorial levels before you start playing the game. Perhaps even a short video like puzzle that tells you what to do as it's doing it. + this if you agree!

its okay but yu ompessed the cluesetion to much its missleading if theres gonna b an empty space between the blocks it shuld show that otherwise its just trial and error that helps

OHHH... it's in the description below the game (maybe should have this in "how to play") - The object is to reveal a hidden picture by painting blocks in each row and column so their length, color and sequence corresponds to the clues, and there is at least one empty square between adjacent same-color blocks. It is allowed to have no empty square between adjacent different-color blocks. There is only one unique solution for each puzzle.

It seems good - but I am uninitiated. Where does it tell you how to actually read the color/square indicators above each column and left of each row? I have no idea what I am doing.

Preferred the first version of the game, can't really get to grips with what i'm supposed to be doing, even after the reading how to play! Guess i'll rate it once i work out how to play lol.

wow man, i was curious about the sequal to this game which i completed, but when i thought about it i was all like "maybe i should see his profile to make sure" and i was like "OMG HE DOES THIS, WOW" you sure are the ultimate #1 artist of puzzles! ever.

DingoTM - which puzzles do you think have multiple solutions? Because it sounds like you're just insulting the developer without proof.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It *could* use build-in way to tell us we've used up all colors in given column/row, even with ability to disable it.

Too many multi-solution levels, 2-5 had two places that could alternate, so 4 different solutions with all correct numbers, but only one of them was accepted. Not good.

Is in a desperate need for a color blind mode. Puzzle 8 in level 1, all three colors look to same to me. I had to hit the check button repeatedly to make sure I was using the right colors.
That being said, while this game is fun and challenging, I do prefer 'Color Link-a-Pix', and hope to see an update to that game on Kongregate some day.
4/5

What's up with all of these color-by-numbers games coming out/getting badged this year? Did a bunch of devs just find coloring books this month?

The hotkeys are OK, but I think you could add the TAB key for switching the colors. It's more comfortable pressing only one key, rather than 3 or 4. Furthermore, good game.

I usually really love Conceptis games because they just so much better than all the other games in the same genre, but for this one I have to say Picma was a lot more fun. Still 4/5 though.

Fantastic puzzle game. Took me a while to actually get used to how to actually play, but overall it wasn't bad. I would definitely suggest a tutorial puzzle that helps you go through a simple example next game.

I find the titles of the pictures to be highly dubious! Exhibit A: Puzzle 6 in Set 1 is a music note? Really? That's what music notes look like? Well now I know!
Other than that, it's a lovely concept for a puzzle game. 5/5

in level 2-4 were more then one possibility to solve, really annoying to find the different possibilities while every number is correct!

I'll tell ya what, as soon as I started this game I noticed my cat chewing on my cell phone chord. I reached over to chase her away and as I did my elbow bumped a massive bowl of cereal I had on the desk and the whole thing fell on my carpeted floor, sticky milk and all, and after almost an hour cleaning everything is still sticky. Coincidence? Maybe. But I've still got my eye on you. We don't take kindly to cereal killers around here. I'm just an accessory to cereal murder, which isn't as bad.

Fun, but the higher tiers force you to use brute force attacks pretty frequently, which was not as fun.
Lol, I just wrote a chiasmus XD
I only had to deal with 3-4 possibilities per brute force attack, but it adds up when you have to BF ~5x per puzzle on tier 2 and ~10x per puzzle on tier 3..

it was pretty fun, until I got to #8 in the first set, which is impossible since I'm colorblind; there are 3 of the same color and I have to guess which is which.
Come one developers, this isn't hard.

I'm a bit colorblind (7%) and have problems with brown/red/green. Level 1.8 was a total guess for me.
but overall good game :)

I had to look at the first solution. My brain wasn't equipped with the right information to be able to do it straight away lol. It took me a bit to click before I finally understood it. Nice game by the way, really messes with your head to begin with. Either that or I am just dumb...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ah you are correct. I did not see the error on the 2 row. It's ultimately possible for this game to have multiple solutions, the most simple case being a 2x2 with '1' and '1' on both top and side, but the puzzles seem to be designed in such a way that they do not.
