Just holding down ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel away from you allows you to zoom in. The interface to colour and to place markers is well thought-out, intuitive, and works wonderfully. There is no need for a key to specifically place dots. What is truly lacking is the "Next Puzzle" button.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well the next puzzle button is not a case of turning it into a level based thing but it's just to prevent the annoyance of going back through the menu 10 times to play the game completely. Continuing your newspaper analogy if when you finished the Sudoku puzzle the newspaper blew closed on you you would be VERY quickly annoyed with the fact that you were having to go find the puzzles again even if they were on the next page.

To be honest, everyone saying there should be a next button is kinda missing the point. It's not a "level" based game, it's a collection of puzzles.
I don't know whether lots of people still get newspapers, but if a newspaper has more than one sudoku in it, you don't HAVE to start with the easiest one. You can jump straight in at the deep end with the hardest one. If the newsaper has 3 sudokus in, you can do the medium difficulty one, then the easiest, then the hardest. It's the same principle for these games.

4/5 for me. Why good game and can be solved logically but they have not put in a next button even though that is the biggest demand that is made in their games.
Now to rant at the idiots who think that just because they can't solve a puzzle that means there is no logical solution I only used the checker TWICE once because I screwed up terribly near the end of a puzzle 11:30pm, and one because I thought the puzzle was actually completed when it wasn't, 12:00am.
If you honestly can't find any sign of logic that just means you need to think of a new way to look at the puzzle. I completed the rest of the game before I came up with a way to LOGICALLY take down the Canadian flag puzzle.

I just noticed that three of the pictures are actually visible in the title screen. So if you're having trouble with a snowman, a ladybug, or a skier, there's an easy source of hints!

Game is really fun, became a lot better once I realized that I didn't have to double click all the time to place dots you just have to double click the first time and then drag... wish I had discovered this earlier!

little bug in the last level I only needed the 5 green ones left in the corner highest row
i took green and rushed over so i marked more then 5 green then i got a level complete sign but because the pic wasn't corect i didn't finish the level

I absolutely agree with aearn (i cannot understand why his comment has been that badly donwrated): controls are way too penible for this game to be enjoyable. For instance, squares are so tiny that it becomes ridiculous and placing dots is a real pain. It is worth to note that the first installment also suffered from the same problems. Shame really since this game has otherwise a great potential. 2/5 as is.

I couldn't even figure out which were supposed to be blanked, which were supposed to be filled, etc. Instructions should start with an explanation of what each clue really means.

Love the game! except for two things: (1) The inability to zoom in (I have to zoom in on my browser, which stretches everything), and (2) the colorful bar that appears horizontally and vertically when I roll over the squares (it is annoying in my opinion). The counter is good, but not the sharp color. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it!

Love logic games, and picture-drawing is a good sort. The UI here is quite good, excepting one thing -- I would *really* like not to have the cheats of arrows telling me where I'm right/wrong, or the 'see the solution' option.

Zoom? Cinematic mode is there for a reason, guys!
Also, What’s your problem? Lack of mouse control? Bad eyes? That’s not the game’s fault. Go do some Q3A CPMA exercise. :P

This should really be a hard badge.
This puzzle has an impressive combination of being hard and keeping one motivated. But it really takes quite some effort.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it got to the point where "smart" trial and error just made it way faster. I don't know if that's meant to be part of the strategy but maybe there could be a way to turn off the green triangles that tell you you're right, and you'd get a "hard" achievement for doing it that way or something.

damn Canadian flag, took me 57 minutes, can't see how to start it without some blind shots. Anyone found a pattern for this one?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this is a game? i could make this! and i don't even know how to program! this game gets an F for a lack of imagination ( not to mention its missing some very basic things like a next button )

I would have thought the "light" version would include lighter puzzles. It takes me longer to start most of these than it did to fully solve the older ones!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Kael_Hate: there are starting points, you have to rule out colors on given rows.. for example, when a horizontal row contains only green, you can mark (gray dot) certain tiles by looking at the vertical rows not containing that color.. where the two lines meet, that tile can be ruled out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not as good as the older versions, probably because the puzzles have no starting point without simply trying all the options and finally seeing a Green arrow. Hardest Puzzle was number 4 Canadian Flag, where the layout of Blue means nothing to the object.

ARamisJ - I refuse to make guesses on any of these puzzles, sometimes it takes a ton of work to find it, though. Like "oh wait, that line can't have any blue in it, so that column's blue has to start... there.... omg I can't beleive I sat here going 'it's impossible without guessing' for that long!"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only real problem with this game is the lack of empirically solvable puzzles. At some point, you just have to guess and go with it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh goodness me. There is no permanent save option, therefore I have to start it all over every day. And I don't have time and patience to solve them on a single day.

When I saw this badge, I was hoping it was a new game... I might just replay all of these anyway. Terrific game! MINOR interface issues don't detract from the enjoyment of this wonderful puzzle game IMO.

@lemmingsgopop, when the line/col is filled (including dots for blank spaces ) an arrow appears on the border, red for error, green for OK.
