These are the metaphors I got from this game.
1. The closer you are to someone the more happiness it brings.
2. Getting to close to someone can be dangerous.
3. Being close to multiple people gives you more happiness.
4. It is dangerous to get to close to multiple people.

The game play is fairly boring but it definitely sends a strong message. Plus this game couldn't have come at a better point in my life. So thanks to the devs

If your spinning, and it means your happy, then why are the black squares spinning BEFORE you go near them? And when you ARE near them, they stop spinning. Secret message or what?

i think its funny the theme of this is "dont be afraid to take risks for love" but what it actually says is "love makes you happy, but if you let people get too close to you, will will always get hurt."

Decatur mentions there should be a category for games like where the central point is not the play of the game but the game itself, or relatively complex feelings derived from play. This has been said many times at probably every artistically designed game on this site.
+ if you think Kongregate needs to add an Artistic category to the site.

The other squares kill you, but they pass through each other thoughtlessly.
They don't understand the dangers of love.
Love is dangerous.
Is it worth the risk?

It always makes me jump when I die. Beautiful music is made when I get close to those who give me joy, but the tone begins to clash and screech when too close to too many, and most of the time it doesn't end well. I believe I just learned a lesson of life in a video game. Truly this game is amazing.

IT's a beautiful game and i think it reflects what we all want, in life im kind of a lone wolf, in here im going around with at least 3 squares, never less, maybe some of those ppl on the high scores are either loved, or want to be loved. also depicting moving between 'partners' is also a very good depiction of modern love, some poeple cant be secure with one partner, and wish to feel the world. fellow KOngregate members i introduce to you college frat boy:the game

okay ill say it! PLEEEAAASE make it easier to see yourself when your alone. just a little bit. I know its kinda another reason to be with another square but sometimes another square gets with me ....like right with me.. then it kills me... not cause its a ninja. but because our square seems to be... i didnt know where i was to save myself.

Its good to have freinds, but getting too close to any one friend, or getting too many friends, is dangerous. am i in the ballpark there?

learn something from the squares: the more people you have around you that are friends that happier you'll be. just like how you gain more points when more squares are by you.

son't see how the music helps gameplay, but its nice and relaxing none the less. original too. for everyone with the black screen problem just try and reload the page. not sure why but this always does it for me. 5/5

Such a minimalistic game but yet it got me intrigued. I like the music and the overall harmony of the game. This didn't feel like just another dodging game, loved it. 5/5

ok i was playing and i got all 8 of the other squares to be givin me love... then i realized i was trapped in a corner. then i realized they were closing in... then i realized i was dead... they teamed up and killed me like in real life if you are with eight girls or more

I like how you sometimes have to choose between being somewhat close with several others or very close with one or two, just as in real life.

When you are alone, you do not spin, but when you use others to get love, they do not spin. Subtle metaphor on life? :)

This is, simply put, the most insightful game I have ever seen. It explains human nature so well. When you are too far from the "others", you can't even see yourself. It's like you don't exist until there's someone there with you. But then, as you grow closer to another, it becomes harder to see yourself again. Furthermore, while the song of one of the others sounds beautiful, as you gather more and more around you it becomes a nearly deafening, cacophonous mass. And, as has already been pointed out, you can't remain near one specific square too long. It flees from you, does its best to distance you -- possibly fearing the very same that you are, the fear of getting hurt. There's so much more I could explain, bu these were the most prominent points I noticed. Simply fantastic. 5/5 and favorited, and i've shared it with several friends. Simply put, I love Love.

This is a great game. Especially for your first. Then again, some probably couldn't make this good of a game on their 100th. Bravo! Hoping you make more in the future.

After a awhile of having three of four squares I decided that I would pursue just one. When I did it moved away from me faster and I died soon afterward. I think that's a great metaphor...5/5
