I played through the entire game, and, on the "You Win" page, I finally realized "Tanookys" are tanukis (erroneously called "raccoon dogs" in English). They are traditionally attributed with mischievous and magical stories in Japan. Anyways, good game. I liked the art and the music. The soundtrack, though, could have used more variety, and the coin issue was pointed out by others. In any case, I would love to see another one, although the creator has not been on Kong for a long time...

I've never seen anything like this. Challenging but fair riddles, cute drawings, and addicting. I hope there will be more games like this!

Cool. Some of he riddles are a bit strange and the hints could be more useful. Didn't really have any problems finding the gold coins. Working out the color pattern for the TV was the worst - and the hint for it was useless.

Please downrate the spoilers, there is nothing in there that is not in the walkthrough or hint book. Just stupid to list it here. That makes two nice pnc-games today!

A point and click game ahead of it's time. The incorporation of riddles along with the consistent matching to the placement of the objects, parallels to the artistic value of the game. The theme is very appropriate and original, drawings were unique to their own styles, and the option to sequence your easiest-hardest riddles to solve. The length of the game however was it's drawback, as the riddles were only limited to eleven thus, shortening the game; and since most puzzles, this one included, have little replay value after completion, I was somewhat disappointed in learning that there was no more. Great game and I hope you continue to develop more great games. 4.5/5

I got halfway through the game before realizing that I had to use the hint book to solve the puzzles >.< Short and fun 4/5 from me

@Muspell try again... read my comment again and see thhat i didn't say anything about "there's no mute buttom" i just said that i didn't enjoy the music and would like to have some other kind of music that fits better... but hey.. my commet got deleted, why? dunno, didn't love the game and the owner of this game couldn't take a good and well though rewiew of his game, but i guess some owners just wants comments that worships their games... but i guess just some ppl belive in free speech to bad that the owner of this game doesn't..

I find the music not catchy at all since it's just a slowed version of that puzzle music you hear in puzzle games.
And sometimes it changes pitch, but it's still a good game nonetheless.

Nice art, but honestly I completed it by clicking around like crazy. I don't think the 10 coins should even be a riddle nor should having to collect so many items be a gameplay feature too. Didn't enjoy this one too much, especially without much story. Felt like artwork took 1 month while game development took like 1 day.

Ok. Here is story and a answer to everyone's questions.
I wanted to make a halloween game, and i knew the song to this game would be perfect, but i could not remember the name. I try to remember, i fail. I check the game description, i fail again. I go to the start screen, i still fail. I hear the music for real instead of in my head, i succeed.
For those of you who would rather skip to the end, here it is
The song is "Scheming Weasel (slower version)" By Kevin Macleod.
Oh, and i do remember playing this game. I bit too strange for me. sorry. the artwork was amazing. the riddles were chalenging, and the gameplay was neat, but the characters themselves bugged me. I didn't like them. sorry.

It is fun to look at, but not my cup of tea when it comes to playing. There is very little interactive animation for an interactive game and the storyline is not good. I feel like they missed some key things for a good interactive game.
