For the longest time, I thought conditionals were activated by STEPPING on a colored tile and couldn't figure out why it wasn't registering. You should have seen my jaw drop when I realized I had to lightbulb.

Click on the main method tab(or the function tab), then when you click a command it automatically adds it to the command list. This way you don't have to manually drag them all.

Really fun game, I love the logic of it. Though I did have to use the walkthrough to understand how to use the color scheme it didn't make sense at first. Sometimes it is confusing having to use a roundabout route to get to the final destination, but for the most part a great game! 5/5

That's probably the case maddy, but KlouD KoNNeCteD always writes the exact same comment on every game. Seems to think that makes him cool or something. Oh well, everyone has their own ways of blowing themselves to make up for inferiority complexes or short comings or whatnot...

Nice game, i (we) would really love to pick the cmds to put into the list with the numbers 1-9. Would make things easier and faster

I cried as my head exploded when I saw the solution for the last level... This game has potential to put you off programing... still 5/5 :D

@moxoxo the conditional requires you to turn on the light (so the robot can check what colour the tile is, we assume) - once you do that, it works just fine
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So far the conditional levels aren't near as hard as the ones before it. And I don't think it's to hard to comprehend the score goes down instead of up. So don't get why people are whining about that. I <3 puzzle games that make me think. Obviously giving this 5/5 since it seems unique to me.

for people getting confused with the direction buttons remember the turn left is the one on the right and turn right is the one on the left... obviously :P

"I'll give you a 30 point badge if you beat this game... oh and there's a walkthrough button... so here, just have the badge"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For everyone who are having a problem with the hard badge: You are supposed to get 3,000 or LOWER, not 3,000 or higher.

A very challenging and confusing game, but still fun. The game teaches you that controlling a robot is very complex :D 5/5.

Wow, I really started studying basic C programming at faculty, and after playing this game, I´m like "Awesome!". It´s got everything to do with programing, loved it, totally! 5/5

Hope you guys realize that no one in these comments will have orange, seeing as they probably just completed the blue portal achievement...

For those having trouble with conditionals, your bot can light up color panels to change colors thus activating the conditionals. Just standing on them won't do anything.

to all idiots saying hey I got more then what's needed for the badge, the game counts downwards! You start with all points (did all levels with 99/999 commands) and you are to improve that and get a score below 3000 which is better.

Just wanted to let you know that somebody is copying your game to the tee.
http://www.programyourrobot.com/ just thought I'd let you know

Complex and challenging, but it has a great design. Although I agree with alexnobody, it's still really fun to work out the steps of the level. (:

I found this to be a really neat game. I enjoyed giving the robot commands and it was very satisfying when I got a solution correct. I must admit I got stuck on level two of Recursion. Thank you for making this game and I look forward to seeing more of your games.

How does the score count down, i.e. what is it counting exactly? It would be nice to know so that I can determine how best to maximise (or minimise) my score.

@Francarf @Shicoco... So basically, the only reason you're rating down this game is because you can't go through it without a walkthrough? Sorry, but you guys are just sad...

The UI is frustrating and there needs to be a way to save so I can come back to it later. Other useful things would include a smidge more debugger capability: pause and step (instead of just "run" and "break") would help a *lot*.

these games aim at finding the solution that involves the minimal amount of programmer input, regardless of how many actions are wasted. If it accurately models the approach by programmers then this explains why so many programs and operating systems are riddled with memory leaks, and take so god awfully long to get anything done.

Have only had time now to play through the basics. Must say, compared to LightBot1, I like the UI where you can click a function and then a command to be written into it.
