When I try to play the game in the Ruffle emulator, the loading screen pops up for a split second and then becomes blank. Not sure why that happens, but I hope it gets fixed soon! :/

I found a working SWF file: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0002/2915/live/BillBotKong.swf?kongregate_game_version=1221789760 (Make sure to copy and paste the entire link into the URL bar, including the "supernova" text before it!)

Completed with 172 commands on second try, first try was 181.
Level 10 made me take notes to try and figure out the best way to go. First run I completed 10 with 1 leftover command, the second time I got it down to 3 empty blocks.
Hint: Make a function span 8 blocks of distance.

Why did everyone found level 10 to be the hardest? I beated it really easily; for me lvl 11 is the hardest (i had to look at the walkthrough :( ). Really cool game anyway, 5/5

Oh my god. This game is so cool and funny. It's a bit hard but it's the perfect difficulty for a puzzle game like this.Completed using 194 commands.

Completed with 203 commands, got stuck on level 10 and had to look at walk-through... all other levels were easy enough even though I did them nothing like the walk-through

Level 10 solution (taken from another comment leading to image): Main function: f1 f2 light left jump left f1 right jump jump walk light, f1 (function 1): walk walk walk jump left jump jump, f2 (function 2): left jump left walk right jump walk walk

Great game! Level 12 was kinda anticlimactic though, with level 10 easily being the hardest level, and with level 11 being a decent bit harder as well, though my difficulty with level 11 was just a small mistake I caught before finishing the level no problem.

There needs to be hotkeys or some easier way to drag a repeated commanded like hold shift + drag to duplicate a command.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that you have to click and drag all the commands, but you have to hit 'space' between levels instead of clicking?

That's weird. I went to the Achievements tab at the top and clicked to view the High Scores for this game, and the different categories were "Min Commands", "Complete", and "HighScore". For the "HighScore" category, only 13 people over All-Time have had a high score, ranging from 667 being number 1 to several people having 0 at the lowest. I wonder if the game had an additional feature that was removed shortly after being uploaded to Kongregate.

Only scrubs look for tut on this game. Here, look at my lvl 10 solution if you're not clever enough : https://prnt.sc/od5gpk

Programming is actually easier than this, unless you want to write the shortest, most clever and unmaintainable code ever written.

Tip for level 10: light up the left blue square first and jump off. Then climbing up the thing will be mostly the same as before. You need a lot of functions within functions with actions that don't make sense to execute at a certain time, but they won't hurt you position in the game, like walking against a block or jumping in mid air or lighting up nothing.

Level 10 is the hardest puzzle level ever made. It doesn't teach you programming because you need to put redundant commands in a function to make it work like forward or jumping when it's not necessary and it won't affect the game at the wrong time.

This game is like game "AI" programming websites, but with symbols instead of lines of code and simpler. The difficulty is getting everything in the limited amount of command slots. Otherwise it would be really easy. Even as a programmer, it's difficult because normally you don't have to limit your lines of code and use arbitrary hacky functions to make it fit.

#10 was nasty, but managed eventually. 195 commands total, could have trimmed a lot from the earlier levels I think. 11,12 ridiculously easy compared to 10.

the difficulty level suddenly shoot up at level 10. Pretty fun tho but the f1 and f2 command looks too similar, I kept wondering is it a f1 i put there or is it a f2 command

For level 10 i needed some help, level 11 was hard but doable, and level 12 was actually easy compared to 10 and 11. Anyway, really fun game, whenever you are a programmer or just ... 'simple minded folk' (according to the hard badge :p)

Gonna have to wave the white flag on level ten, at least for now. Really good game, though. Worth the splitting headache! :D

Well, level 10 was easily the hardest. Level 11 after it was pretty straightforward, and 12 was downright simple (except for the bot strangely not stopping even if he was finished, so I had to make a few alterations but whatever)

Made it in 176 commands. Level 10 just needed a leap of faith. Level 11 requires patience as you watch 168 steps unravel through 23 commands (any better ways?). Level 12 feels like a much needed wind down level. Very good game though.

I completed the game in 209 commands. I enjoyed playing! I found this after playing the official version of lightbot.

additional comment for lv11: this level has so many squares to light up, using nested functions seems neccessy. But my solution results in some useless moves(such as a meaningless light up at the starting square), is there a "clean" solution with no useless moves?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lv12 is easy. Hardest levels are 10 and 11. lv 10 is hardest to think of a solution, while lv 11 is the only level i can't get rid of useless moves.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
See I'm clever right: I just said it's level 11 that's hard not 10. Turns out 11 is easy but I was reading the numbers after levels not before. I did manage levels 10 and 11 though, so it can't be that hard! Not tried 12 yet...
