Love this game, the concept is brilliant, as is the story, but for me the shining point is the references, it seems you get a reference at something every other level.

Too slow to have a moved tower become ready to fire... much faster to sell it and build new. Moving a tower instead of selling should not be a penalty.

tracer tower+beam mod+linker mod+ fork mod+damage-over-time mod= epic lazor of doom. Couple it with a compressor, and a scanner and you've won the last level.

Darn, finally got the hard badge, but 20 minutes too late for the badge of the day. Kongregate needs a bit of a grace period for people actively playing around midnight pacific time.

Really in depth and complicated TD. However at the same time it does not go over your head because it is well explained. One of the more impressive strategic TDs that I have seen allowing you to go a lot of different routes to come to the same victory. Impressive. 5/5

(I live in a country in central Europe, so the botd changes for me around 9 in the morning). I got home 23.30 in the evening, and was very tired, but I still logged in to get the badge of the day. Now at 5.45 in the morning, I'm finally ready to go to bed :)

Enjoyed the novel approach. Had played this once way back and just noticed it again thanks to the point award adverts! Awesome game!

Horrible choice for badge of the day. It's a good game but I don't want to spend 8 hours on a badge. Please fix the choosing process.

Badge is considered hard more for time investment than difficulty IMO. If it required completion on the harder difficulties then it might be a little more interesting.

I thought this was a great game. It was a good idea to add power ups to the towers instead of upgrading it. im sort of used to that kind of style though. I spent a good, 5-6 minutes looking for the upgrade button but overall, this was a great game. Keep making games like this. 5/5

Don't you have some games where you just hate playing those CERTIAN games but you cant seem to stop playing.. Even with a walkthrough!

'There's a maximun of 30 data cores per level, 10 for each difficulty', why do I have 20/20 everywhere and only 2 difficulty levels?
Good catch. It should read a maximum of 20 data cores per level. I had tested a Hard difficulty at one point and it wasn't possible like it is in the sequel, but apparently that hint never got updated. I'll have to fix this the next time I upload a new version. Thanks!

I think the concept of adding attributes to your towers , rather than just upgrading your towers in a TD game is great. The difficulty was smooth and well thought out. Money or "memory" in this game wasn't an issue at all, in fact it was plentiful, but yet at the same time the difficulty didn't decline because of this. The animations aren't bad but not aren't overwhelming and distracting, and it doesn't cause the game to lag whatsoever. Perhaps too

EARLY GAME PROTIPS: Yes, you can wait for the lights to change. / Memory Leak x2 + Chain/Splash x1 on an Infector tower is awesome DoT. / Command Shell + Splash + Slow at the start works well. / Having trouble? Try switching 'easy mode' on (the green shield in the corner). / Compressor towers home in on targets. Use Splash and Slow or Leak on them for great effect. / Avatars aren't actually that hard; just use Damage over Time to kill them. / There are very few obstacles a Slow/Splash Command Shell and a Leak/Leak/Chain (or Splash, if you can afford it) Infector can't conquer.
