Just broke 18,000. Are...Are they getting stronger? I mean, they seem to be able to take more hits now... Well, more hits, equals more points per kill. So i'm not complaining. :D

Well, Kesshi. There are arcade modes you could do to reach the level requirement. You don't have to go back and forth, you just chose to. I'm currently going for the high score in Arcade 1. At 7,400 right now. Just need 81,000 to go...

There is so much that can be improved on this game, bar the visuals. There is no clear indication when the platform ends and the air starts, attacks slow down the gameplay and bosses are a joke most of the time, since you just keep your distance and shoot at it. I can't even commend this game for its originality, since even most of the mechanics are taken from other popular games. And the leveling, oh, the leveling. It's pointless. The only reason you level is to open gates, which is just a timewaster. It doesn't make you feel valid for your actions, and it doesn't do anything to your stats, not even visually. And some variety in the attacks would be cool, I mean, it's essentially a one-button beat-em-up, and we all know how fun that sounds. Press A to win.

I joined Kong in 2008. Good games weren't this bad then. Actually Kong's game quality has been slowly declining since then. You could press attack and then jump without a delay between. You could fight bosses without immediately getting knocked off the platform before having a chance to move because the game wasn't "ready" to listen for your keypress. You guys claiming 2008 explains the poor gaming experience must not actually remember 2008. The game was just poorly made then same as it is now.

Finished through it, no hard feelings, developer, but this doesn't feel like a finished game, this feels like a first back-handed attempt at ever making one

The game needs a way to go back to menu when you get xp stuck. Sucks to get stuck and almost at level 6 with no way to at least suicide. Also, a bug. Last level you can bypass the level 5 barrier by climbing to a ledge above, jumping off the side, and keep right key held down. Will let you pass.

Making you have to go back and forth and back and forth through level content you've already done artificially makes the game longer. It also makes things boring. I can understand putting secrets in these areas for the hardcore and/or adventurous players, but making it a requirement in an action game slows down the feel of the game, and leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

For those stuck on that door you need to be level 6 for. Jut pause, hit menu, start over. The game remembers your level and gear, so you get the xp on each level and can finish for your badge.

Completely in style: I ragequit after hitting the lvl6 barrier in the last level. The prospect of points made me come back. That barrier is just ridiculous.

This was a very fun game for me. It certainly beat the pants off of fancy pants. Unless your raged the jump attack doesnt do damage, but can be used to reach slightly higher areas. Once your raging you can jump and press attack just above enemies and damage them. 2 hits should kill anything but bosses. This wont build rage though, so time a few of them with normal attacks to keep the rage going. 4 out of 5; it misses a point for me because the P button doesnt bring up a menu and i have to refresh or die to quit to the menu.

Made it to level 9, quit to take a break because I was so utterly sick of the game, came back because I wanted the Shiny Kongpanion -- all my data gone. I hadn't even closed the window. The frustration = not worth it. And how do the controls get WORSE the further I progressed?? 1/2 star.

@Raeden Well it IS from 2008. It's not exactly an optimal time for beat-em-ups for Flash. I'm not saying that excuses everything of course.

Well. I was on the last level. I had just leveled up enough to get through the final gate. I hear a loud noise from downstairs, causing me to punch my keyboard out of shock. I pressed F5. Page refreshes. Progress lost. If that isn't rage I don't know what is.

Just a few minor adjustments and this could be a great game. As it is, too many annoyances to ever want to play through it again.

I will not call it a horrible game, but it was not the best. Released in 2008 and it showed it. I had three levels completed then had to stop only come back and find out there is not auto save. Controls were horrible. you could not turn around while fighting. Running down a slope and not being able to jump was annoying as getting through the last level to get to the boss and find I need to be level 6 and that I would have to redo everything I had done on that level. Two stars.

I beat this game less than a month ago, and I remember the only annoying thing was not having enough exp to pass. But other than that it's a great game

controls are really bad. weapon switching is glitchy. weapons look almost all the same, so its hard to figure out which one you have right now. when i die at a boss, why do i start over with the same amount of health i started it the first time but the bullets i used are lost? cant jump while walking down a slope... thats really annoying. white enemies in front of a white background... really? i mean come on... and the most annoying thing is: i opened every crate and defeated every enemy, then finally i come to the last gate and i am really glade that i made it to get the badge of the day... but then I NEED TO BE LEVEL 6 ? W T F ?

Great game! When I play arcade mode 2, i start with a weapon that I didn't collect and I'm unable to change to my other weapons.. is this right?

hoorah, 2nd boss I died... Click retry insta bomb to face off the side. Retry again breathes fire off until I am off the side. Does not spawn with before attempt ammo =( ouch.

Needing certain levels to go through necessary portals without the possibility to level up enough or even kill yourself? worst game principle ever. Don't know what the kongregate people took when deciding this badge.

Stupid flash completely ignores the keyboard layout switch, and the stupid game doesn’t allow configuration of keys.
