Controls are just awful. You need to be able to change direction on the fly WHILE attacking. Needs a run and slide button (like pressing and holding down to slide). Doing damage while attacking in the air would be nice. All in all a good game. Just definitely needs some tweaks.

Part two: More than one sword isn't needed especially if it does the same amount of damage as punching something. If you want to add something else, instead of slightly different swords maybe add a hammer, axe... etc. Enemies should also get more difficult as the player progresses, but didn't feel like it did. Likewise, weapons should do slightly more damage as you progress through them. The levels are made more tedious by having to revisit areas, and having no map doesn't help this any. It's easy to forget where things are and NOONE wants to revisit with these level designs. 2/5

Part one: This game is playable up to beating it, but if there were more levels, I'd not be able to continue. The graphics, although consistent, are not fun to adventure through and the background is just as bad as the main platforms. Some games look well done even with low quality type graphics (notebook wars), and this is NOT one of those. The background music is TERRIBLE and repetitive. As for the game play, please add a retry button to the level won screen, though it's not necessary, your players will want to redo levels in order to farm exp. Weapons are nice, but most of the swords look similar and aren't unique aside from the last. The gun was essentially useless, I didn't even want to bother with it seeming how the sword kills everything easily and requires no strategy (bosses are the exception) though I'm assuming it does the same amount of damage as the swords.

There seems to be some trouble with kill counts. I'm pretty sure that I didnt kill only 9 people in World 1, after already killing 30 in the same world at an earlier time, before the challenge was made.

AH CRAP YO F*CKIN KIDDIN ME??? You mean I went through all 4 worlds and got to the final gate of the final world at lvl 5 just to see i need to be AT 6 LVL 6 TO CROSS THE GATE????????Don't you have a heart dude???

How is the rating on this so high? This game is terrible. It's easy and moves way too slowly. (slow at processing and game progression) At least once I unlocked arcade it was easy to get all the kills quickly, but honestly I could have kept playing that arcade mode until the end of time. Zero challenge or enjoyment. I wish I could rate 0/5.

You cn attack in the air: when you have rage, you jump nd hit a or s by enemy and there will be exploson that hurts the enemy

This game could have been good, but is terrible because of things like the gates that needs a certain level. Its impossible to complete the game without using glitches to level up.

Fun mechanics. Boring later levels. Stuck at last level because of worst stupidest boringest level cap system ever seen. What went wrong in the dev's head ? O_o Didn't finish the game because of that...

So I got to the last level had to be level 6 to pass the last gate... no more enemies half way through level 5... no way to level up. GOOD GAME!

The player is constantly reminded of how poor and inconsistent the jump height & physics are because the level design is multi-leveled with several platforms and ledges you must leap to. This game would have been much better off as a side scrolling beat-em-up than an action-platformer.

This game is full of bugs...If you go to main menu in middle of the game to save ur progress, you have to start the level all over again... There should be a Resume button in mainmenu, so you dont have to start the level again everytime you put on Main menu

This game sucks. Best tactic is to wait for the enemy to get close while you crouch (in case he has a gun) and spam attack, and during rage just spam roll attack. This way you can go for hours in arcade mode without any problem.

i get past the third boss and on the next level the last laser thing wont let me pass because i cant get to level 6 ive killed every guy and collected damn near every experience orb but im only level 5 with 622 out of 1500 exp WTF!!!!!

Very buggy game. More than once did I glitch through a gate by accident and have to go back to the menu from being stuck. Also the going back and forth in the game makes it more boring than entertaining. Also a level requirement to finish a level? Not a good trait to the game.

this game is hard buggy. Jumped on the platform on level 2, near the end. End up in the "abyss" flowing for a sec and the dead. Tried the tutorial, but cant finish it. The "P" button does not work

so it turns out that if you finish a level with 8%, you will spawn at the boss with 8% meaning that the fight will be ended if you take 1 shot... and most of the time the boss attacks me the second I spawn, and I can't even move then... so I wasn't wrong when I gave it a 1/5 a long time ago

Bad design, laggy, uninteresting, no reasoning, and what's up with the 10 second hang time on EVERY jump?
The best parts of this game were the fact when i googled the cheats after completing, it came up with streets of rage 3 for genesis, and my personal favorite part where it noted that this is the last installment. Will not be buying the associated console game now if this is how they want to represent themselves. Now to dig out my greatest hits for genesis and play a game that's actually fun.
