The last level just bugs out for me. I can't beat it. It just makes me fall through the floor and glitch out until I die. Sad day.

My biggest gripe is when you "retry" to kill a boss you couldn't kill, you start with the same low health and you've lost bullets!

Seriously, whats with arrow keys? WASD movement, and customizable keys is pretty much a must have in any game these days. Complete failure for controls.

Tip: When you encounter the Boss (Any Level Boss) just let your Rage Bar 50%-80%Full after that go Suicide.. Then Look at your Rage bar its..
Note: If you Killed by the Boss your rage bar will back to 0.. So Goodluck & Thumbs up (+) if this is useful :)

It's really fun for a bit and harkens back nicely to the old Newgrounds days of flash gaming, but there are a number of criticisms: Besides the level req gates just to advance in the adventure people have already criticized, there's the fact that the enemies never seem to get stronger or smarter at all (even in Arcade Mode which makes it incredibly boring/pointless); the fact that exp orbs never give more than 1 apiece which is a joke; and the fact that the rage powerups the game seems so obsessed with are worthless as it's best to just keep your rage as high as possible for the natural attack buff it applies.

Gotta say, the rolling explosion ability you get is very useful against bosses. You can just roll your way to victory while taking little damage.

So I have to level up to beat the game, not because of a tough boss, but because of a gate. I won't stand for this DISCRIMINATION against low levels!

lol so i played the arcade mode at around level 6 - got to level 8. farmed up about 1k rage and just kept rolling side to side killing everyone. unlocked cheats: looney, bin, rackem, adiosturdnuggets, prime, trashly

Why is this rated so highly?! It's grindy, it's repetitive, the combat is dull, the boss fights are unforgiving (but not in a good way), the XP system is screwed, the ammo system is screwed, you have to constantly backtrack through the same cookie-cutter-BS unfair-platformer level design, even disregarding the fact that any time you fall you have to climb ALL THE WAY BACK UP, and it's not even FUN. What the hell? I get that it was released in 2008, but this is trash by virtually any standard.

I'm stuck. I am level 5 but I need to be level 6. To do that I need about 1200 exp but there isn't a single enemy or box left D:<

i see why it has so many plays now. You have to be a certain level to pass gates and if all the enemies are dead and the restart button doesn't work you just refresh and give it another play. Brilliant.

Oh what these developers must have thought.
"Let's make a great game, that people will like, what kind of games do people like?"
"Well, people seem to like Final Fantasy."
"Why do they like it?"
"Well, it can't be the great controls, brilliant story and unexpected plot-twists."
"Then it must be..."
"THE BACKTRACKING!"
"Yes, it must be, let's make a game fully about backtracking, people loooove backtracking."
Some developers just don't get it.

Cheat guide: "looney" - Faster gameplay; "bin" - Infinite ammo; "rackem" - Unlock all weapons; "adiosturdnuggets" - Skip to level 20; "prime" - Infinite rage; "trashly" - Invincibility. Thumbs up so everyone can see, and remember, have fun, you little cheaters. :P

The game is interesting, but not easy to save progress. Should have a way to not ever go back to the beginning. I've done three worlds and lost all progress. Can improve.

For everyone compllaining about bad AI, crappy controls, falling down to the bottom and other frustrating things about the game, take a look at the name again.
