The issue that I am having is the jump button works it seems sparadically. I have died I don't know how many times, because the little guy won't jump when I tell him.

Not to brag, but to those complaining about this game's difficulty, I won without knowing there was a walkthrough, all 72 stars in fact. but I'm not going to label the game as "easy", because I know some might find it hard. Labeling a game just makes those who don't game as much angry by making them think that they're bad.

3/5 and here's why:
Gameplay: Not quite enough variety in challenge. I felt like this was a rather basic puzzler. The controls are unresponsive at times, especially when starting a level. It may seem like a little thing, but if I'm holding left when the game starts, then I want my character to move left. I should not have to hit it after the start of the game. You really need a restart button for the end of the level, especially when there is some form of a scoring system.
Graphics: The visuals were well done, and suited the game nicely. It sometimes felt like collision detection was biased against me, but overall, I could tell what things were, and that's most important.
Music: The music was far too repetitive, and felt like something I'd hear in an elevator. I'd rather not listen to elevator music for longer than I'm in an elevator.
Overall: With a few upgrades, I think this could be much more challenging, addicting, and responsive. However, for now, I feel this game is only average.

I quit, This game needs alot of improvement, Most may not agree but the lack of stuff even the top commenters are saying are not there. This game is also very difficult, Stuff like level 12 im on now, This game more then requires the walk-through for most people to beat it, Not that everyone cant beat it but its very frustrating, No game should require a walk-through or a hint to beat, Not great, Not good, Not bad, But terrible.. Sorry, Just saying it as i see it.

this is my stereotypical perfect game in kong: Pixel, take some skills, fun, and badges. 5 starts my friend, no one complain about this piece.

The gameplay idea is fine and the controls work great. However, the levels could maybe be a bit more imaginative, and not having any reward for getting all the stars was a definite "boo" moment for me. Still, not bad!

Far too frustrating to have to get the timing pixel-perfect eg on level 8, getting it wrong once means having to restart the entire level. The creatures should be able to walk up a small step without having to jump.

Timing aspect would have been nicer if the turning to stone was locked to a grid or there was at least a grid showing. Now it can be very frustrating to get it just about a pixel wrong.

Want a "fun" challenge? Level 23 can be finished with five left alive. Requires insane timing, but you can do the bottom half with two stones instead of three.

Level 17 cannot be done in the way it is done in the video walkthrough. The fire rate of the cannons is much higher in the game than in the video. It might have something to do with the computer configuration, but it definitely cannot be done...

Pretty easy, and it didn't take long to replay the trickier levels to get 72 stars either. Still, nicely put together, funky music, and a lot of fun 4/5

Very good and challenging game, but sometimes the keys stick and the game won't respond. Also, the final level is almost too difficult. Not everyone is capable of good hand/eye coordination. 4/5 because of the final level.

Just in case you want to know, on level 16, if you stand on top of the red block and let it squish you, you will just drop down under it. Just FYI

I agree with sexhorse. The stone function seems a little unresponsive at times. I also thought the game was a little too short and easy, but I'm a sucker for platformers, so I thought the game was great overall. 4/5.
