Under rating threshold (show) (amd64 Linux) problem: Once shift is pressed, it is permanently stuck. and you can only deselect units with escape. But with the broken shift handling, escape is handled as shift+escape which erases all group numbers (why?), so the groups can't be used.

Under rating threshold (show) I give the game 5/5 for sure but there's one thing I don't like, when you buy the Temple Evocation the priests make the base the number one target. This leads to my whole army dying then eventually losing. Please make it so that infantry is the primary target. Good game though.

Under rating threshold (show) I feel I must be doing something wrong. I simply cannot complete the secondary objective for quest 5. I'm currently on quest 9, have completed the secondary for every quest BUT 5, but I simply cannot find a strategy that allows me to be aggressive enough to destroy all the enemy buildings while still being defensive enough to prevent damage to my castle, all before wave 6? Am I missing something, or is it supposed to be an especially difficult objective?

Under rating threshold (show) A great game, but the troop movement should be more fluid - it's annoying when my troops run into each other so my soldiers can't get to the front and everyone gets slaughtered. Maybe add a formation option? Also, a "move and attack" command would be great. As it is - if I click on a monster, everyone moves to attack but when the monster is killed, the units in the back stop moving unless they have a nearby foe to attack. If, however, I click to move near the enemy, they'll first move to the spot and only then attack, which means they get attacked along the way and do nothing about it. Frustrating at the very least.

You can "move and attack" by holding CTRL down. Your cursor will turn red to indicate this.

Under rating threshold (show) ATTENTION! Google Chrome also had the "statistics" problem happen. I was playing the game for an hour or so, restarted a game and the screen froze (seemed like it was trying to load an add). After I refreshed it played an add and then I was frozen on the statistics page that says "your" at the top.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a warcraft 2 clone without naval combat or lumber, and with a grossly simplified upgrade system. Nice music. Slow pace. A bit generic. Not a bad game, but nothing that hasn't already been done better elsewhere.

Under rating threshold (show) Mission 13 was the first one where going with just the 3 basic units failed me. For me what worked was fully upgrading my wizards. At quest 13 the biggest problem is the big volume of enemies and the shotgun like action of some fully upgraded wizards helps a lot.

This is a great piece of art especially during a time where popular RTS's like SC2 are starting to become famous and popular. Great game, I love RTS games, this game is nothing short of EPIC. This might be the first real RTS flash game. Very good job.

Under rating threshold (show) mxptlk, the necromancers don't start making skeletons until they are in combat. That being said however they should be no1 on your to kill list, especially if you don't have mages, since they can keep raising skeletons which don't even give gold when killed. Mages help since when fully upgraded they have a shotgun like attack that makes quick work of skeletons, but if you follow the kill necromancers first rule you can just make do with archers and priests for the first 12 missions.

Under rating threshold (show) Overall a wonderful game. A couple things need to be improved, however 1) Priests should not rush into the middle of a battle. I have them positioned where I want them, behind a tower. Suddenly, they decide to run to the other side of the tower to engage the enemy. So, they get slaughtered 2) It would be nice to assign numbers to your groups. I have one group on defense, another out rampaging. I want to click "1" for my rampaging group to get selected, "2" to select and give orders to my defending group 3) Do something to make it a bit less CPU intensive. Even on low quality I get lack when I have 20 or so units in a party.

Under rating threshold (show) There is a problem with pathfinding. It would be great to had a filter to select only soldiers, or only archers or only healers. Sometimes the healer fight in the front line and it's not good. At the end, you can't move each unit separately ... Give a 5/5 because all the other things are very good :) Hope an orcish campaign :)

Try this: Double-click on a unit... all units of the same type on screen will be selected.

Under rating threshold (show) It's really difficult to select an individual unit from a group. Whenever I try to click an individual unit (an archer for example), it still gives me control over the group. This is only a big problem when I'm trying to micro or keep alive my units.

Under rating threshold (show) Generally good - but the later quests are insane. Like, 'not playtested' level of insane - I see no way for the player to actually succeed at the final two quests, and that fact kinda made me lose interest. Win without damage? Good. Kill all enemy buildings? Good. Kill 'em all in a time limit that requires you to play perfectly? Not going to sink that effort into a flash game.

Under rating threshold (show) Since level 5 is troubling a lot of people I thought I'd write a mini guide. First of all, you don't have to do it soon, since it's reward isn't much when you want to keep enemies away from your castle to prevent any damage. I did it after quest 12 but I think the strategy should work nonetheless. First of all build an archery, train both ranks of long shot and build 2 archers and 2 soldiers. Go left to destroy the first incoming wave and one tower. Upgrade your soldier's health and keep building soldiers and archers, replenish your forces and go right to kill the tower there. Then continue all the way down to kill the third tower. Use the forces you should have build up to command a second team to go all the way down the left and kill the last tower. Your first team should be on the way to the castle killing any guards and starting the attack on the castle. When the second team is done with the last tower send them in as well and complete the pincer maneuver to win the quest.

Under rating threshold (show) If I destroy a building down a dead end path then they should not be able to send troops from that path anymore. They still do and it makes secondary quests impossible.

Mm... as far as we know, they don't keep coming. Destroyed building stop producing units. Beware though that some units might be out of the building already waiting for the command to attack. If you miss them you may think the zone is clear when it actually isn't.
