Next attempt at getting it I had damage and fire rate (meant that instead of speed last time) at 18, raised speed to 14 while running around, and it crashed on me... guess no badge or bonus for me.

Managed to reach the last level (didn't use mines, died on the last few bosses) but didn't get the badge either. Get as many flags as you can on the early levels as the extra points give you a huge advantage later on. I had damage maxed (18) and speed at 15.

Actually, discovered doing what Gamma1227 said NOT do do causes ALL Adobe Flash Players you have up to fail. I had advertisements up on other screens, and all of them crashed also.

Oh, and I also just tried what Gamma1227 said NOT to do (going inside the book), and yep, the game crashes before the first wave even begins. You get a white screen, except for a gray exclamation mark with a grey circle around it.

You might have to reset the browser to get the daily achievement. I completed all 40 waves, and it said I only completed 17 waves. Then it changed to 27, then 28, and then when I was about to report a missing badge, I got the achievement. See Eisvogel's comment.
Oh, and the "Hold Spacebar and Shoot" method works wonderfully! Thanks dylmani555!

Speed should also increase the speed you capture flags at, its a really pointless stat as is. You can waste 10 points on it and not see that much of a difference.

Hey man, this worked for me. :) "Challenge Mode Walk through--- Stand on top of a "+" (preferably the one in the top right corner) hold space and fire at anything that comes your way. Lay mines around you for protection. Only upgrade damage and 1 or 2 fire rate. And you will win :) quote="ttattin"

Badge isn't working for me. I've left it paused in the middle of wave 33 for 10 minutes and my best level so far is still only 16. Also, here's a troll strategy I haven't tried yet, but might work. When you pause the game, although you can't see it the current wave bar moves to the next wave. So pause game, go do something for a while. Then unpause and pause quickly. Your current wave will go up by 1, and the enemies will have moved about, what, 1 cm? Rinse and repeat. Don't blame me if you don't get the badge though.

dymani555's comment about holding space didn't help at all, until I figured out that it only works in ONE direction. Example: Hold left and space, and it'll keep working unless you press up, down, or right.

wow, i just realized, on the blue book on challenge mode on the bottom left part of the map... if you go on it, the game crashes

Yeah, it sucks that you play a game for about 12 hours and finally do the requirement, but no badge. This game is so laggy on my computer and for some reason the print screen thing don't work for the screen shot.

Lol it doesnt crash if u have a fast computer, i used full fire rate with the glitch on challenge mode for all the levels and it didnt slow down

Got the easy and medium badges without too much difficulty. The hard badge. Eh. I'll wait for an easier Badge of the Day.

Useful tip for anyone struggling for the hard badge... go for the flag on the bottom first for the extra points early on... then get only just enough points into damage to kill the kamikazes in 2 shots (you wont 1 shot em, even at maxed)... so about 10 points... then everything else into fire rate, you will be swarmed, a lot... that's how I did it, very effectively.

I think for those that are crashing a lot, it might be partly to do with your system vs the game. I'm not saying it's all you, just could be partly you... after I beat the easy stage, it practically froze for several minutes, then unfroze itself on its own and acknowledged my competence... now after beating several waves into the 30s on the hardest for the badge of the day, it's finally recognizing my awsomeness....

I gave this game 5/5, then it crashed. So I decided to rate it 1 point less for each crash until I get the badges. 1/5 and I only got the easy badge.

for some reason I keep getting auto-killed around wave 30... and/or end up missing huge chunks of health when nothing had even been near me for a long while, and I keep distance pretty well

Buggy. Badge doesn't work, after winning a level, the Try again and go back buttons don't work. crashes/freezes for no reason.

I like the slow counting badge. It builds up anticipation. And who know, maybe the creator did it on purpose so you start another game while you wait :)

Biggy: Look for "Bunny Flags", another game by the same developer that has more campaign-oriented design some tower defense to it.
