Under rating threshold (show) This is a great game, but I wish it had more stuff to keep it going. Like being able to buy more land and buildings, more research and jobs. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) What the hell. 3 of my sheep ended up on the graveyard (a tombstone occupied my pen). I kept buying sheep and it kept putting them in the graveyard pen. Sheep are now useless. That sucks. Fix this bug please.

Under rating threshold (show) This is a really good game. It makes me think about the flowing of the time... it's like a sort of speeding up of our lives, a wonderful metaphore about the existence of men. You born, you study, tou find a wife, you raise a child, you work, you die. Without forgetting your ancestors. And many other things. Really really deep, only apparently just a simple game. Ok, a part from that, some advices: 1) a genealogic tree would be very nice; 2) a shortcut key, to avoid to the player to click continuosly on the ground spots to plant, harvest, etc; 3) an ability tree, to let us know what's the next upgrade; 4) a little summary about the current age of the members of the family; 5) on the grave, a number that displays the age of death of the member, instead of having us doing the math; 6) a year clock. This game has A LOT of potential, you really should continue to develop it. 4/5 for now, but you can easily make it a 5/5! ;-)

Under rating threshold (show) How to survive as long as possible - Plant trees, fill the screen. Sell them to earn coins. Buy bread and go to school with them. Repeat. DO NOT grow family. Research and build well. Draw water until health is 100. Research +1 health per year. Destroy well and plant trees. Research double trees. Profit. Makes the game extremely boring but this is how you survive as long as you can, given you live forever alone.

Under rating threshold (show) Basic info for anyone new: Trees have 3 stages in which you can cut them down, the first when the tree is as tall as your house, the second when it is double the size of your house and the third when the tree is massive. The first stage will get you 1 wood, the second 3 wood and 5 wood for the third stage. Veg and grain will get you 3 or 2 back per fully grown plant, dependant on what is planted before it. If you keep using the same area for wheat and grain, you will only get 2 back (with no upgrades) however if you alternate planting trees then grain on the same patch, you will get 3 back per plant (no upgrades). You can see this by the height of the land after you have harvested or cut trees, hope this helps :)

Under rating threshold (show) After 40 years of marriage, my wife died. Rather than having my daughter and her husband have a kid to fill the work, expanding the family instead has me get re-married....to a 16 year old black "woman" named Bob. Then within 5 years, all my family died, and expanding just gave Bob a husband and kids. So much for my legacy...

Under rating threshold (show) very unique and serene game.. i clicked on it b/c it seemed like an interesting farming/management game.. and Wow.. the game is much harder than it looks. Despite such a simple GUI, controls, concept, the game still offers a challenge.. plus since there is no tutorial (i think no tutorial adds to the game as a whole, since you are "starting" a new life and have to sort of try things out just like in real life when you start farming for the first time).. I literally spent hours without noticing clicking little diamonds.. lol... the music is so peaceful as well.. Definitely a 5/5 game and favorited..

Under rating threshold (show) Quite a fun little game. Lots of nice little things; I think my favorite idea here was the growing graveyard as your time metric. The market worked well, and the little "tech-tree" worked very smoothly. Couple little thoughts I had as I was playing: Hitting "continue" after beating the game freezes it at the ending screen. A "Sell 10" button would be nice in the market. "2x Knowledge" was the last thing I researched; it'd be nice to see the skill tree ahead of time! Knowing about school/pens/mills/wells and the requirements would also be good for planning. Going to 0x game-speed while on the market/research screens would be handy. A "hard mode" where each gravestone gets its own tile could be entertaining. Real-estate would vanish very quickly! Lastly, some sort of endgame goal: After researching every skill, for 250 Knowlegde you learn a new hose design that takes 500 wood. Or maybe you'd need to save up 50,000 gold to pay off some debt. Heck if I know!

Under rating threshold (show) Very good game. It's so sad though, You reap what you sow, and then you die. Your family lives on to do the same, and mourn over you. But in the end, generation after generation, you become rich with more than enough to spare when you were starving at the beginning. In the end, all that's left to do is become rich and smart and healthy, and then you die, again. Sowing again.

Under rating threshold (show) The idea for this game is sound. I encourage you to make a second one with more features. You could have an auto-harvest and auto-plant, among other ways to make the game less click-happy. More upgrades are always good.

Under rating threshold (show) Might want something that indicates when the trees are fully grown and a key for which buildings requires whatever amount of wood. First time running through, I couldn't understand why I couldn't build a mill after I had already researched it. Also, I chopped the trees at the earliest possible stage before I read the tip on letting trees grow to the max. Try putting in events since it gets repetitive after all the researching is done. But yea this game amused me.
