Nice game, I would've liked to see a sandbox mode where you can endlessly evolve instead of stopping the game after the graveyard is full.

Nice game, but a bit short (more researches would have been nice, I unlock the double research and then had nothing more to research).
It could have been nice that mourning several time makes the grave disapear (mourning helps to 'go on').

I wish my family could work together this well.... Aside from marrying llamas of course. Save that for another poor family.

What I've learned from this game: you can live off well water quite well, ignoring other factors. Education received becomes hereditary. Time to find a spouse or have children, one day (and the adults don't have to touch). White parents can have black child, black parents can have white child, cemetary expansion is a threat to humankind, bread is more profitable than growing vegetables in theory but x3 the work and needs a special building and tech; sheeps and cow don't breed and have to be cooked (for the cows we lack a bull, but of the sheep? Surely the lonely sandbox person can do that!). Sheeps don't explode as in every other video game I've ever played with sheep involved, that was much a surprise. Large forests can grow in 3 days. Murdering excessive population is not implemented, but it's easy enough to starve them all until overrun with tombstones for the hell of it. My wife doesn't like brocolli.
A profound and splendid summary. About the lack of murdering and exploding sheep - I wanted to make at least one game without violence in it. Hope you don't mind.

Couple of helpful hints. Menu options only appear if you fulfill the resource requirements. You need money to school to research. Sell veggies at the market. You need wood before building, so plant some trees. If you wait, trees grow to be gigantic, don't premature chop. It's 20 wood for an animal pen, 30 for a flour mill, and 50 for a well. There are multiple animals sold in the market, cook them all. Buy grain, plant to hoard, mill to flour, bake to bread, sell. 100 health is max with well, otherwise it caps at 80. Researching Double School, +1 yield, and pen, is very useful. And always mourn your dead.

So, I am 56 and my wife is 17..........we decided to have a kid (he is black and his name is Satan. We are both white.) and he is also 17............the logic is strong with this one.........

great simulation game. my only comment would be it'd be great to have all the rules clearly listed out - what are the costs of each thing? how does health affect logevity? what technology is required to build what? how long does ___ take? what's changed in "hardcore" mode? 5/5.

Biggest problem with the game? Options aren't even displayed until you have the materials for them. So no only don't you know that you need 25 gold to go to school, you can't even figure out where the school option is! What counts as food, and for how much is also unknown. You don't have the option to buy livestock until you have a pen, and you don't know you can build a pen until you have enough wood. This game either needs a manual or shouldn't have the options hidden.

Loved having Nerdook as a spouse. XD Fun little game, very addicting. Seems like one of those games that you play for hours on your IPhone.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind a x3 speed button. x2 is too slow and x4 is just a bit too fast for me to enjoy the game.

I'm pretty sure that children aren't made by having the man of the house pace back and forth outside the door for a while.

Very interesting Game, it's like a mix of farming, management & strategy. This gameplay has a lot of potential - hope you'll follow up with it !

Would like to set an individual to a given task (Mary only goes to school, Jed only ploughs when necc., Jack only plants Veggies, ect) I still voted 5/5, but just trying to help

Kevin and Daniel have successfully raised a child. Today Lobster has come of age ? I suppose that for 2 guys with only 1 even going to the house producing Lobster is good effort :)

Great game, love it, wasted my time here for hours. A bit sad that it's such a mess trying to calculate the dead people's ages, but hey... I've got lots of ages I want to calculate to get a clearer picture of the progression anyway, so it had to get harder eventually. ;) 5/5

HINT: in the beginning pause the game use the 4 spots to the left of the house for trees and grow your family three people is enough and plough all of the fields to the right of the house resume game then wait until they finish ploughinhg all the fields then plant vegetables in all of the spots you should be able to get though until harvest time with the beard while waiting for the vegetables go to school with the 50 golds pieces (go twice) then chop the trees at 5 go to the market and sell all of the trees hope this helps

Pretty fun game! I think it could use one more thing though, that being a family tree. I would love to see how mangled and confusing it would be xD

Interestingly enough, if you didn't have the grave mechanic, you could just sell all your food to get schooling, out-reproduce the starvation rate, and have the entire family plant trees for as long as you like. [I tried this out in Sandbox mode]

To send someone to school you just need 25Gold - only source = market
To reach a high lvl, start with 2 ppl - send one to school (always), the other one plants only trees.
Research the right techtree first,
After having everything researched build one well, you only need 1 person to drive the farm - no worries, you get automatically a new person if you die,
Build pens on all spots and buy cow, if u have two cow left in a pen they will breed more cow - cooking those brings the wealth
Selling is not necessary, the value of all goods count for the score.

This is a great game, but I wish it had more stuff to keep it going. Like being able to buy more land and buildings, more research and jobs. 5/5

Wow, mourning the dead makes you healthier? I guess I should take my sick relative to the nearest graveyard. They'll recover within six months!
