After 40 years of marriage, my wife died. Rather than having my daughter and her husband have a kid to fill the work, expanding the family instead has me get re-married....to a 16 year old black "woman" named Bob. Then within 5 years, all my family died, and expanding just gave Bob a husband and kids. So much for my legacy...

Would be nice to know how much to build something, maybe have it greyed out with the needed items, (EG how much wood you need for a pasture since it just suddenly appears)

very unique and serene game.. i clicked on it b/c it seemed like an interesting farming/management game.. and Wow.. the game is much harder than it looks. Despite such a simple GUI, controls, concept, the game still offers a challenge.. plus since there is no tutorial (i think no tutorial adds to the game as a whole, since you are "starting" a new life and have to sort of try things out just like in real life when you start farming for the first time).. I literally spent hours without noticing clicking little diamonds.. lol... the music is so peaceful as well.. Definitely a 5/5 game and favorited..

Quite a fun little game. Lots of nice little things; I think my favorite idea here was the growing graveyard as your time metric. The market worked well, and the little "tech-tree" worked very smoothly.
Couple little thoughts I had as I was playing:
Hitting "continue" after beating the game freezes it at the ending screen. A "Sell 10" button would be nice in the market. "2x Knowledge" was the last thing I researched; it'd be nice to see the skill tree ahead of time! Knowing about school/pens/mills/wells and the requirements would also be good for planning. Going to 0x game-speed while on the market/research screens would be handy. A "hard mode" where each gravestone gets its own tile could be entertaining. Real-estate would vanish very quickly! Lastly, some sort of endgame goal: After researching every skill, for 250 Knowlegde you learn a new hose design that takes 500 wood. Or maybe you'd need to save up 50,000 gold to pay off some debt. Heck if I know!

Very good game. It's so sad though, You reap what you sow, and then you die. Your family lives on to do the same, and mourn over you. But in the end, generation after generation, you become rich with more than enough to spare when you were starving at the beginning. In the end, all that's left to do is become rich and smart and healthy, and then you die, again. Sowing again.

The idea for this game is sound. I encourage you to make a second one with more features. You could have an auto-harvest and auto-plant, among other ways to make the game less click-happy. More upgrades are always good.

Might want something that indicates when the trees are fully grown and a key for which buildings requires whatever amount of wood. First time running through, I couldn't understand why I couldn't build a mill after I had already researched it. Also, I chopped the trees at the earliest possible stage before I read the tip on letting trees grow to the max. Try putting in events since it gets repetitive after all the researching is done. But yea this game amused me.

really liked this game! here's all the Productivity skills and what they cost. Productivity 1. Furrow Plough - 10 knowledge, Time to complete filed tasks reduced by 30% 2. Gardening - 15 knowledge, Allows planting of grain 3. Crop rotation - 20 knowledge, +1 yield for grain and vegetables 4. Tilling - 30 knowledge, Grain and vegetables grow 50% faster 5. Fertiliser - 40 knowledge, Additional +1 yield for grain and vegetables 6. Coppicing - 50 knowledge, (get more from trees, I forgot to copy exactly)

I'd really like to see the ability to click something in the Market then Hold to sell multiple.. My Carpel tunnel is starting to hurt. I'd also like the ability to expand on my land and just more research. All in all a fantastic game worth playing! - Thanks for making!

The music is so melancholic, and it just gives me some sad/happy vibes whenever I look at the graves and reflect on what I accomplished. Especially at the end. Wonderful game I say, too bad it's so short.

Lol: How to get far-> Farm Vegetables and trees until you research, then all you need to do is Eat Carrots and drink water daily to keep health at 100 XD

for the players -- if you get stuck, just get 25 gold and send someone to school. Levelling up your farm this way is often the key to moving forward.
for the dev -- this is a fun, nice-looking game, and I like it quite a lot. I'd love to see fruit trees and berries, yielding both wood and fruit. Birds, bees, and butterflies, with a natural pollination model, would be awesome. There was never a graveyard in my game -- have you eliminated them? Could you add in a way to track deaths?

best way 2 make money is research a pen then get pigs/sheep/cows get 2 let them breed and cook all the cows except 2. so if there are 4 u kill 2 gives 5 meat each = 10 meat x 30 gold in market =300 gold per pen.Btw they breed REALLY REALLY quickly in x4 please + so people stuck can see how to make fast money
Also build a well quickly and keep drawing water its +2 every time when u get to 100 hp people in your house rarely die of old age mostly diesease

Glitch: If you have someone about to do something on a spot and then a grave goes there, they will still do it and the spot is still avilable. + so CuriousGaming can see
