WTF, on the final mission I only built 2 Titan Turrets and won in like 30 seconds? Does something seem wrong with that?

Pretty cool game. Good balance and enough unlocks and upgrades too keep me interested. Not very often that a flash game keeps my interest longer than an hour. 5/5

@alphawerewolf, well missions seem to be randomly generated so i can't play on it. However, no mission is impossible. Trying turtling and keep replacing destroyed barriers, use pause frequently. On one very hard one i had to pause every few seconds to rebuild barricades fast enough but i won lol. Try different strategies, i don't usually use heal/shields though unless there's heat damage. Feels like a waste of energy if you have structure regen.

I don't know if this is just me, but I tend to use up the entire space given, and I sometimes even add constructors. However, the problem is the ships are at the bottom left hand side, and the map on the right. Point being, I can't always see what I'm placing and sometimes even can't because the option is off the screen D: If there was a way where you could hide the map or building options, I'd find that very useful.

Is there any place that tells you what exactly a black hole, or static, or heat damage, etc does? Might help with planning. I was playing a Black Hole stage and just lost and I have no idea why.

If you're having trouble try these tips: Generators are only useful on certain defense missions. Instead drop some Miners near any asteroids in your vicinity and spam Interceptors or the biggest carriers you can afford for a fast win. Physics Labs are your friend. In a duel you can Constructor-walk into your opponents base and build a bunch of turrets before they have built their base up.

So there I was doing a defense mission, got 8 reactors, 8 stardocks and 4 starports all spewing out carriers of various sizes. My map soon fills with hundreds of little fighters slowing the game down to 1fps so while I waited I decided to get rid of a few meteors using mining turrets. Once gone I then delete a turret and all hell breaks lose as the selfdestruct caused a fighter to blow up which then chain reacts as a wave of fiery death spreads across the screen wiping out not only my ships but my whole base. I failed the mission. :)

For those finding it difficult, you can do the following,
at the start of each game, pause the game. built one reactor and at least 1 Physics lab (depending on starting credits)
Always remember, as the game progresses, abuse the physics lab...

Man, I'd love to have a replay function so I could watch the battle unfold. Too busy during the action to scroll around and see all the fighting.

And to most of the missions the strategy is to build 1 big power generator, 1 Autogun turret just in case and then spam fighter bays (50 en) building Interceptors (75 en) 'till you win. Upgrade: energy generators then fleet production speed, rocket and bullet damage, building and turret armor, then ship's weapons and armor and everything else. With the facility that speeds ship construction up by 50% the rest of the game is a piece of cake, including the last mission.
Also you can build while the game is paused.

Great game. I had trouble against green b/c of the infect but I solved that by rushing the green enemy. Be sure to spam miners in asteroid levels and still use some in regular levels. Won with miners/barricade/super carrier combo.

Black hole insta death... should be a timer or at least something special to let you know it's coming... Enjoying the game just find the sudden death thing just a bit odd.

it would not have been a problem to beat the final level and earn the last achievement. but it's kinda upset when you confront a certain level where they used to swarm you with alot of infestor. the infestor covers the whole screen and it seems impossible to beat.

in the defense missions, the little ships always seem to blow up half my base while the medium ships hardly do anything at all. could you lessen the damage of exploding ships?

k is to destroy your unit/building. Be mindful however, its creates a small explosion that deals damage to nearby units(not very deadly)

Okay now putting bases within turret range is a cheap shot after all they seem to have any finds they need to out build the player.

Great game!
For last level: build starport and annihilator right away, then 4-5 miner bays, then a couple physics labs. Hope this helps.

I quit when I realized that I couldn't get money for replaying past levels. Even a reduced prize would have been nice.

Yeah, I played through 15 levels before I was like this game is impossible.
Then I read the comment that said you can build while the game is paused. Tutorial fail.

Needs: building behind minimap, a speed up for some longer matches where you are just slowly waiting/building, a retune on balance, a pause hotkey, and a restart map option to minimize the time spent reloading maps. Some of the ships are essentially worthless due to several factors. In all cases when you can build supercarriers they are the most powerful, but on most maps a fighter rush is the only viable strategy. Beyond that, the starting points are too close, and sometimes you can win early with turret spam. It is a good game, although the random higher level maps can be very difficult even compared to the final mission.

There are several primary strategies (NOTE: you can build while paused!): 1. Spam Interceptors/Miners (works for about the first 1/2 of the game), 2. Use Constructors to bridge into your enemy and spend the rest on Autoguns (great for duels), 3. If your starting amount is high enough, start with a Super Carrier or Annihilator and use the rest for Physics Labs, 4. Use a combination of Miners and Carriers to just overwhelm your opponent. Wow final level a complete joke won it in 10-15 seconds. Also interceptors are far to powerful, start every map building energy plant, then spam interceptors and you will win just make sure to put them back away from enemy and use your base as a shield. They will kill most everything before it gets to the base and not take the damage and die like they would being in front of base

Mining ships, man. Mining ships. Those alone will get you through almost every mission if you build them fast enough.
