What sucks here is that you as a player dont have time to experiment. Killed so fast in levels by timer that any will to learn the mechanics is stillborn. When sharp movement is required and jumps have no room for error timers suck. Missing learning curve. Would have done 1 star if not for the responsive controls. 2 it is.

Crosscrosscross is hard, took me about ten goes. For the last speedup arrow jump back (on your third jump) to the platform you jumped from to get it, then go over to the narrow ledge, then go for the target. Tough though.

Oh my god, the Cave Story level is so hard. But I love the game. And I love it that much more for the Cave Story refference. 5/5.

So is the last level really considered a level since there isn't even a turtle on it? It's more of and end credits have fun "level" without the credits, not an actual level. So actually, I beat the game. At least that's what I'm going with.

I cannot get beyond the level labeled 'ignore'. it' seems simple enough, but i cannot make the goal in the time allotted. heck, i'm ignoring it right now... must have about 20 explosions by now. someone please help me; i like what this game has to offer, but i am very frustrated.

What was that song in the Microvania stage? I'm sure I heard it in one of the games, but there are so many games and songs in that series that I'd neverbe able to find it if I looked for it.
