The beginning is SUCH a knock-off of the original Star Fox on the SNES. I was laughing like crazy at it. The rest is only vaguely reminiscent of it, at least as far as I got, but still...

Great try.....but.....after every boss fight (i never see one before in this game)can you make the ship fly back to the large ship for upgrades?

Despite the storm of negative comments, I have to say, this is a very well made game. The visuals are excellent (re trying to get to your cruiser - which is behind you - why are they coming back at you from behind?), and the invisible wall stopping you from moving too far forward, although that one does make some sense (It just felt obstructive for no major reason). Anyway, Great game, and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future!

hope u can upgrade this to a full version game with levels and stuffs, great game for a 3d flash (i failed in making one like this >.>) 5/5

Starfox. Do a barrel roll. It reminded me a lot of Galaga (rit?) the old game you'd play in an arcade or something. I didn't like it though, since I kinda left for a few minutes to write this up and get a Sprite, and I was still in the same corner. I didn't know what I was doing either.. 4/5.

No. NO. Conceptually, its good, graphically, given the equipment, tis good. The camera angle simply KILLS depth perception in the game. 1/5 because of such a MASSIVE flaw. if you're going to make a shoot em up, you need to be able to tell what you're doing.

Yeah, not a bad concept... I like the way the upgrades work (temporarily)... and how you can maintain a high upgrade by killing more, kinda thing... very nice... but, not too sure about the general business (and messiness) on the screen... ah well... 3/5 but do carry on developing!

Pretty nice game. It'd be cool to see slightly more permanent upgrades (the purple +laser ones are premanent I think) but I like the degradation. Something of a "boss" would be cool to see too... but as of now I still give you 5/5.

I agree with vlyke on the very starfox-esque gameplay, well done... but it would be nice if we could use the full power of 3d, al la galaga (the second one that is)
Very nicely done, definately my fave so far =P

Everyone, ignore Etterra. Apparently they don't know how to use the command properly. I am able to CTRL+Mousewheel(Scroll) and make the game 1920x1200 (My screen size).------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Love the Star Fox-esqe feel, and the animation is great. Great 3D as well. First time play was 23K 4/5

Etterra, you're a noob: a full 3d game and you've only to say "no zoom" and "lazy programming"?.... this game is good 4/5 + 1 for the graph

Well, I died really fast, but still AWESOME! It's like starfox 64 on Kongregate! Except without annoying Slippy. Who is totally a girl.

Heh, 58,500. Was pretty disappointed at the lack of a bonus for collecting lasers after reaching the cap. Just an extra 1,000 more points for each one with 10 stored would've put me over 75k with ease :(

Lawlz Damijin. I prefered keyboard myself (biased opinion, really sucky trackpad), but if Ark so wishes, I assume the best option for all parties would be to have an option for both. :3

Well, judging by the Description I'll be unbias. The concept is nice, but could use some more work (As you, yourself stated.) I'll give it a 4/5 simply for the potential it shows. Powerups need some work, I agree, mainly a better way to track how long they're lasting, what you have, etc. I adore the angle though, rather than the typical top-down style. I hope you work on it.

well it has potential but personally i HATE the power up system since they have such a short and uncontrolled duration you can never really get that effective.

Sain1982: If you don't keep picking up boxes, you'll die. Power-ups are the only way for you to score higher. Remember that this is an endurance shooter, not a regular shooter.

not all that exciting. You move the mouse and your guns shoot on their own. The weapon upgrades don't seem to do much. Maybe more damage? Hard to tell because it seems to take a while to kill baddies still.....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun game, but not really amazing, needs something besides just move the mouse and...uh.. move the mouse. Overly simplistic makes it old fast.

I absolutely love this game, but I hope kongregate gives at least an honorable mention to the best game made by a non-professional developer.
I mean, did you see the start up? There were like three pros working on this one.

Blame me for the mouse control, I insisted on it, and I am eeevil. Ark is completely free to re-implement keyboard controls if he wants to fulfill the demand though!
