when i was playing vandheer lorde the dude wasnt hruting me at all but then i played it on hard mode and i was the dude...i can see how hard it is to kill him now....

I'm surprised at all the positive comments I see here. This was, frankly, a very poor and not-well-implemented game. Attacks did not sync up, movement was too "glossy", the final battle was piss poor easy, and all in all the game was just overall lacking.

Boss' D attack on hard has more invun frames than it has animation frames. This means that the boss can get into the opening frames of another attack before you can hit him. The S attack on the boss seems to be able to hit a second time if it carries the boss off the edge (thus making the AI use it immediately after and send you off the edge)
Good game, but the final boss on hard needs a few tweaks.

For those having a problem beating Vanguy in HARD mode.
1) At the first 3 ticks of health, Vanguy will walk slowly... Slow and irritating, as his blade has a longer reach than yours. However, the lone warrior's attacks are faster than Van's ones, the trick of the main 3 ticks is to simply run toward him and attack a moment before he does it. Spam auto-attack until his health goes down and he gets "Serious".
2) Here, the roles are inverted... The trick is to stand still and let -HIM- run to you. Don't move, running and turning back to fight him won't make your strikes fast enough to get him. But if you stand still, you will be able to hit him right before he does. Note, when he begins to teleport around and about to knock you in the air, he will always appear infront of you. Good thing that you were standing still and meanwhile you have the time to place yourself behind him, go to the toilet, eat a snack, and when the animation is done smack his face with the usual combo. This game is amazing. I give it a 5/5. My only complaints would be to make the character switch a bit more obvious, and to make it longer. This game deserves more to it.

at the end i just kept pressing S over and over until he died. its cool how you vanish then reappear behind him and slash. i also liked the mini-boss scorpion thing...at least i think it was a scorpion...

Lol In the boss fight I started running right and pressing A. Once I got hit I realized that I was Vandheer. I really like playing with him, his moves are awesome.

This would have been the best game i have ever played if you made it longer and added more of a storyline. 5/5 still loved it though.

Damn, I got stuck in one of the first levels: I think it's level 4 or 5 (where the "bridge" comes down).. i double jump it, then encounter 5 enemies, kill'em all (none of them fall down the fallen bridge) and the wall doesn't open up.. looks like I'm the only one, though.. shame!

This game was really fun but it needs to be longer. I love how in the end you play the enemy which gives it a nice twist. More heros and more people to paly would be awesome. ANother great game!

It would be nice if the achievements were made into a page rather than a scroll box. This would cut down the time of trying to find certain locked achievements greatly

People, just so you know, you SWITCH characters with Vandheer Lorde and have to battle yourself. Keep comment alive so people don't play an amazing game and rate it down just because they can't fight the boss. +

The combat is a little annoying. There needs to be a button for blocking or dodging so that after you finish a combo you aren't standing around like a dope.

FINALLY ANOTHER ARMED WITH WINGS. these games are some of my favorite on Kongregate, not only due to the story and amazing artistry, but also the gameplay is great. over 9000/5.

Keep comment alive. When battling the final boss, build up special attack button "s" then continually press it to transport and automatically attack the boss, he cant even hit u back ha!

Epic game :D I'm currently at the boss fight, dying several times, but still I love it! Finally a good game with simple but beautiful graphics, strong boss. 5/5
The spec attacks looks like to me like attacks in Bleach :D

it could be a good game... nice graphics, good story, but the controll is a nightmare...
the fighting system could survive some modification(pressing A has too long animation so when i fight, it is impossible to get any special), wall jumping is too hard
anyway it still has got my 5*

This game is absolutely amazing. Gorgeous art style, fluid combat mechanics, and just plain fun to play. Anyone who says video games can't be art needs to play this.

This game is staggeringly awesometastic. If Chuck Norris was a samurai, he still wouldn’t be this awesome. In fact, he would probably be less awesome than Chuck Norris normally is. But that’s still pretty awesome. And less awesome than this game. Which makes this game awesome. Now you know.

One this that buggs me is the "S" move later on, I keep dying when I tp behind the enemy when he is falling so I die instantly. Otherwise great game.
