Honestly I think you need better balancing. Hdrive dwarfs everything else to the point that it's stupid to even think about buying anything else after a couple of upgrades of the hdrive. Also, I think your math is off on some of the stuff. The power jump of the last hdrive upgrade, for example, is totally ridiculous, and also way higher than 200%.
Hmm I'll check on that. I agree there are a few things that undoubtedly could use some tunes. I appreciate the feedback and the play. I'm already looking at a possible sequel and would incorporate what I could into that or a major update to this game. Thank you and best, -Tim

Fun game. Great waste of time. Slow start, fast middle and slow end game, but I liked it and had fun doing it.
Nice work :)
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAA!! HAHAHA You're the first person to recognize Father's Office. I love that place!!! hahahah Thanks man and I appreciate the comment! Best, -Tim
HAHAH! Thanks, I think that too. I may not be the best programmer or game designer by a long shot but I do my best. The dialog was the most fun by far too! Thank you for the nice comment! Best, -Tim

Funny dialogue, sci-fi settings, doesn't take forever like other idle games... great game :) Only thing missing is an extra bit of polish, the UI and graphics look a bit cheap, not that I mind that much. Most idle games are like that anyway. Different spaceships etc could be cool too.
Thank for the play and the comment! I totally appreciate it. I agree there could be a bit more sheen on the game but I'm very happy with how it came out overall. That said - there is always room for improvement. Thank you and best! -Tim

All of the upgrades add to the total output. It would be cool if there was an upgrade that multiplied the output by a small amount per upgrade. For example, 1 upgrade gives a multiplier of 1.01. Second upgrade 1.2, third 1.3, etc...
YES! OK - I'll tell you a secret and DO NOT TELL ANYONE! Even though we are here on the internet, in front of a ton of people. The main six engine upgrades do that. I can see what you're saying though and some of that could be WAY more transparent! Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
That's a great idea. I was thinking of working on a longer version. I did consciously make this one a shorter version but the nice feedback here has me thinking of doing something a little more. Thank you for the comment and the feedback! -Tim
Thank you and I appreciate the play and feedback! I am working to improve and it's great to know someone enjoyed the game. Stay in touch and best! -Tim

Pretty fun and overall entertaining game.
The dialogue is what really made it in my opinion. I would suggest something like a "prestige" system for resetting, but there's probably not enough content to really justify it.
Anyways, great game, thanks for sharing!
Hey, that's a good idea and I am considering a sequel! Glad you enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun to make. I appreciate the comment and the feedback! Thank you so much!!! Best, -Tim
I'd love to do a sequel to this with a ton more upgrades and story! As for doing more with this, I'm considering an update but might hold off as I'm working on a new project at the time. Thank you for the play and the comment! I appreciate the comment! Best, -Tim
No worries. Interestingly enough, I had to do some tweaking to the code to allow auto-clickers to work. For some reason the way it was first coded the clickers were not working. I thought about that and said "LET 'EM USE CLICKERS!" HAHA!
Crazy huh? You do actually save the game if you pause and exit to the main menu. To be honest, I'm not quite sure why I did put that in there. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM hahahaha. Thanks for the playthough and the thought provoking comment! -Tim

What a great game!
Well done on the style, the chat, the space feel.
I tend to like long idle games but this one was fun.
I feel i must comment on the music, it was really great!
Splendid choice, spot on for the feel of the game.
Thank you so much. Really makes my day to know the game was entertaining. I appreciate you and the others who enjoyed, rated and comment. It means a lot to me to hear your feedback! I also was pretty happy (and lucky) with the music choice. I think I listed to over 700 tracks before picking that one. Thanks again and best! -Tim
HA! Thank you and I appreciate you saying that. I would love to see it entertain that many people too. I'm always glad when it entertains anyone who plays it and I do want to make more games! Thank you for writing and best! -Tim

Question how come scanner's cost so much for so little of a return? Maximum upgrade for them and they give 160 per unit. My engines which cost a ton less give 512 per unit.
That's a great question and the honest answer was I didn't spreadsheet as well as I could have on that one. haha. It's funny how sometime a thing pops up up only after a bunch of people smarter than me play it. I am considering a major update or better yet a sequel. I do have another project in the works right now but I'm following the fan response on this one! Thanks for the comment and best! -Tim
HA! No kidding! You are rocking it! Thanks for playing and commenting. So glad you liked the game! Stay tuned too, I'm working to improve and making more!
That's awesome! Keep on flying if you like! An impressive amount of time you must be going super fast by this time. Thank you for playing and keeping at it! Stay in touch, I'm making more! Best, -Tim
One of the great suggestions was to have some sort of codex where you can re-read the dialog and check it out anytime you want. I think it was a brilliant suggestion and I'm thinking of ways I can put it in via an upgrade or in a sequel. Obviously a sequel would be much more easier. I appreciate the comment and the time! Really makes my day to see you and the others enjoying the game! I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
Yeah, no kidding. I had it the other day. Man, I love those burgers. I think since I grew up in SoCal they're part of my childhood. I dunno what I would think if I didn't grow up there! HAHAHAH! Thanks for the comment and play! Best, -Tim
Thanks for playing and the comment! I'd love to do another game and take some of the awesome suggestions and run with them. It's interesting seeing the game through your eyes and the others here. It does help me see what people notice and enjoy and I appreciate it! Best, -Tim

Should improve the Scanners. Fully upgraded they give 160 each. Fully upgraded Engines give 512 each, and weren't anywhere near as annoying.
Hey! Thanks for the comment. First, I appreciate you playing the game and I also want to thank you for the suggestion! I check out all these comments and look to incorporate what I can into sequels and updates! Best, -Tim
I know what you're saying and thanks for the comment! I'm considering a sequel and/or a major update and that would be on the list of possible changes. I appreciate you taking a moment to comment and play! Thank you! -Tim
Wow - that's a tear! Thanks for playing and taking a minute to drop a comment. I hope you enjoyed it and perhaps got a laugh. Take care and speak with you soon! Best, -Tim
HAAAAAAAAAA!!! Thanks! I do take a lot of pride in my unbalancing! I also appreciate you taking a moment to write a comment and play the game. Thank you! Best, -Tim

02:54:30 Is that a good time or a bad one? Anyways great game, as always, and I hope this next game will be just as good!
That's a perfect time. It's really there to finish as you like. Some go for the speed run and some are playing it slower. Either way will get you there. I've had short runs and SUPER long ones. Early versions of the game were WEEKS long. UH-OH! HAHAAH. Thanks for playing and the comment I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
Very nice. That's a good time for a casual playthrough. One of my more casual ones was almost 10 hours! OOPS! HAHAH. Thanks for playing and the comment. I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
Yep, that is what they were talking about too. I think they even joked about it while it was being upgraded. haha. Thanks for the play and the comment. I'm glad you checked out the game! Best, -Tim
Hmmm - should be good to go on all browsers. I did a check before uploading. Maybe try a new one or clear your cache? Feel free to mail me directly if you like hello (at) donleytimefoundation (dot) com. Thank you! -Tim
HAAAAAAAAAAA!! DANG IT! hahahah. Good idea and maybe I'll expose that stuff for the next one. They are there but hidden. If you can believe it I was having some issues with the math displays at one point. I think it was hitting the quintillions or something and the program was crapping out processing it. I'm like "it's 2014!!! What's up with that!?!?" HAHAHAHA Thanks for the comment and the rating. I appreciate it. Best, -Tim

Won in 2:39:38 Pretty short for an idle game... on the other hand I did end up beating it in one stretch, and playing nearly 3 hours strait is pretty darn addicting for a free game. 5/5
HA! yah, thank you so much. I appreciate you taking a moment to comment and rate. I did hit the development crossroads when I was making it and thought about 'going long' with the gameplay. I instead added a little story and shortened it up. I mention earlier the game was 2 plus weeks easily at one point. I'm glad you had some fun and I might do a followup with all the nice comments and suggestions here. Thank you and best, -Tim

The game has a good concept overall, but much too short. An idle game should last forever, not be fully upgraded in just a couple hours. I'm not going to rate this game, it's not finished yet.
Thanks and yah, this is an idle 'type' game and not really one of the forever versions (though I did model my gameplay on those). This one has a finish line in terms of the story as it where. You can technically play this forever and upgrade forever if you like. Barring that - perhaps a sequel if we do one will be more to your liking. Thanks for playing and I do apprecaite the comment. Best, -Tim

First run, 50:27. My time definitely could be improved, I went back for some lower upgrades early out of boredom, and apparently you don't even need them for the finish. Just focusing on your hyperdrives and the upgrades for those as soon as possible seems to be optimal.
Nice, yeah - it's really interesting to see how people are solving it. You can go all out with the Hdrives and they will yield a good amount of speed. Thanks for playing and the comment! Love the feedback. Take care! -Tim
