gilili is a genius, the only thing I did different was I bought tier 4 instead of hemorrhaging, finished out tier 1, bought blindness and the other really cheap one in tier 4, and I got it in 89 days, also started greenland

My strategy for the impossible badge:
1 Start with virus.
2 Start in Canada, Greenland, New Zealand (probably th best option), Cuba (restart if you don't start in any of these)
3 Sell starting symptoms (if any), other than sneezing. If you don’t have sneezing, buy it.
4 Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances.
5 Once your disease spreads to a few countries (4 or 5), sell sneezing to get rid of visibility.
6 Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes or this is after day 30, restart.
7 Pump 4 Drug Resistance and buy sneezing, coughing, vomiting.
8 After a few days, unlock tier 2-3 keeping whatever symptoms it gives you.
9 Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, hypersensitivity, hemorrhaging.
10 Wait until everyone dies.

On the fastest speed, is has taken me about 30 minutes to kill people. Nobody is making the vaccine, but I will still be forced to let this game run for another 15 minutes to complete my full extermination.

If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Even starting in the elusive Madagascar, you still can't win, some other region then completely locks you out.
This game might have inspired the "No Win Scenerio" idea for Star Trek, since Pandemic II can't be won by any conventional means.

In my opinion, this game is weired. Think about it: you start a deseise, try to spread it and infect the world. It is like "Infector" but way more realistic.

There should be a new badge for this game, "Infect Madagascar"
Seems like any time I take it, another region blocks off everything or the vaccine works.
I have even tried several of the tips and none of them work, I think this game is programed to be impossible.

Walkthrough for the impossible badge:
1. Restart the game until you get Cuba
2. Buy the following symptoms: Sneezing and Coughing. If you get Fever from the start keep it. Also buy Heat1, Cold1 and Moisture1.
3. When a region (not Cuba) have about 8000 infected sell Coughing and when it haves 30000 infected sell Sneezing and Fever.
4. Now wait till you have infected all countries (it may takes some tries)
5. When the last region is infected wait a couple of days.
6. Then buy Drug1, Drug2, Drug3 and Drug4.
7. Then buy Tier2 and Tier3 in the Symptoms section (keep the symptoms you get). Never buy Tier4.
8. Then buy the following symptoms in this order: Coughing, Hemorrhaging, Pulmonary Edema, Diarrhea, Kidney Failure, Hypersensitivity, Fever and Fatigue.
