4th time with a start in Madagascar, each try so far have had cuba closing down ariport+shipyard before they got infected so all the world infected except them. Game is NOT balanced. Only time i won was in New Zealand and madagascar got one of my infected boats early on. Winning is pure luck.

It's kinda sad watching a ship get turned away from port after port for months then finally, the last port closes, there is no place for the ship to dock. Also, how can you not hate Madagascar? If you don't start there everything is nightmarish.

So, they find a virus that is infecting everyone and does absolutely nothing.
They start researching a cure for it. Fine. My question is: who the hell is funding this research? "This billions will go to kill an harmless bacteria found in anyone" isn't exactly an election winning motto.

Pandemic 2's Realism: Droughts and floods at the same time in a country...sounds legit...the ability to spot a disease with zero visibility and zero symptoms...that's like real life...people start burning bodies when nobody's died yet...yep...ships sail around the world three times over to get to a country...that's accurately portrayed...Madagascar is easy to infect...yep...wait...one sec...what did I just say? || This has proved that realism isn't realistic...

Okay after hours and looking at Madagascar it is only connected to New Zealand. Anyway, what you want is the rodent transmission. Best way to infect Madagascar. Hope it helps.

I managed to get Madagascar infected. The ultimate trick that mostly works is to keep your disease low visibility and highly contagious. Sell the current traits that are highly visable if you can right away. By the time airports/shipyards get shut down most of the world has been infected. Once your disease has been spotted, have at it with giving your disease highly contagious and visible traits.

I appreciate the game, but it fails to take some things into account (illegal slave trading, and the fact that some diseases cause a lapse in judgement) which in this case might cause them to take longer to shut down the harbor/airport. 5/5 because I respect how much effort was put into it.

Guide to getting President Madagascar Assassin Badge(Keep Post Alive)
1. Pick Virus
2. Start in Canada(this is the only country that i could win in)
3. When you start make sure you get sneezing sell other symptoms and also have level 1 Heat,Cold and Moisture.
4.Once four countries are infected sell sneezing, keep the game at second speed(it seems that if you put the game at it's fastest speed countries discover the virus in like 3 days i don't know why)
5.Wait till all countries infected, don't worry if some countries close the borders they usually get infected bringing the airplane/ship back. If in 35 days Madagascar isn't infected start over
6.buy all drug resistances, Sneezing, Coughing, and Vomiting. Also buy tier 2 and 3
7.Buy the most symptoms you can within the 3 tiers and good luck
8. i know the comment is like the top comment but this is edited a tiny bit because the one up there has very minor flaws(ok almost none)
