One time, I had just barely 100 days on the clock, with one chinese man left. That was a sad, sad moment. The next time, I wiped out humanity in 72 days. I felt a lot better :)

I feel sorry for that one poor ship that's stuck at sea since all of the docks are closed. It just bounces around like the ball in pong.

its funny the game did better than Covid for keeping atleast one country perfectly healthy, just shows to you how humanity failed this year, hopefully we can beat the virus like this game did.

I swear this game has like adaptive ai. The more you consecutively try the quicker they shut stuff down. 100th try and went with the parasyte w/ stealth mode remove symptom buy resistance and airborn. My starting place pulled a grenade dive to save the rest of the world.

I like how Japan starts to hand out masks to prevent infection despite the fact that about 5/6 of their population is dead and no one is healthy.

August 26, 2008. Starting area is Madagascar, and there are 82 infected.
Madagascar: SHUT DOWN OUR ONLY DOCK AND CLOSE ALL THE SERVICES

I don't know why everyone has so much trouble with Madagascar... for me it was Greenland that wouldn't friggin go down...

I came so close. I started in Madagascar. Immediately a great start. I infected EVERYONE-- except those in Indonesia. And now I can't infect them. This is depressing.

A disease with 0 visibility, no symptoms, and no lethality... the doctor's visit must sound like this:
"Doc, I think I've got something. I feel completely okay."
"Do you? Well, we can give you a check up."
"That'd be great, Doc."
"Well, looks like you're completely healthy."
"Wonderful! I'll go write an article about how people being completely healthy might secretly be infected with a disease that won't hurt them and isn't at all noticable or even infectuous. I'll be doing the world a favor!"
The guy then proceeds to create global panic about how everyone is infected with a deadly virus that they won't ever know they have and does no damage to their bodies at all. We'll call him Alex Jones.

How do you spot a disease with no symptoms that isn't hurting anyone. Also, if the 'disease' isn't doing ANYTHING, why are you closing your borders and enforcing martial law like,,,, chill

Ok... seriously?!? I make my disease waterborne and what happens? EVERY SINGLE FLIPPIN' COUNTRY IN THE WORLD HAS A DROUGHT

its funny watching a boat just sailing around because everything is closed then watching it die in the middle of the ocean saying WHY GOD WHY!!!

How to infect Madagascar: Sell your first sydrome. Get all transmittions other then waterborne (that'll make Madagascar close it's port). When a ship sails into Madagascar (rare), that'll infect it.

All this talk of Plague Inc. Evolved . . . you do realize Pandemic 2 came out in 2008, right? Thus, I'm pretty sure it didn't copy Plague Inc -- additionally, Plague Inc. Evolved SHOULD be much better as it had many great predecessors to imitate. Unfortunately P.I.E. isn't offering the badge of the day though. :)

The US closed airports and shipyards before it even arrived in the US and before a single person died from it. We all know now that wouldn't happen.

The biggest problem I have with the realism is that countries wouldn't easily shut down borders. The common cold has been around and yet most borders are open (the closed ones for other reasons). So really until someone dies, it's hard to imagine borders being shut down. Even swine flu and ebola didn't fully shut down borders. Just one specific country had screenings into the other.
