The game glitched when I tried purchasing face masks right as it hit day 40. Kept playing until day 80 and then realized that even with all infected gone I couldn't win, cool story...

this would be great with multiplayer, one player tries to create an ever evolving virus while the other attempts to halt the spread

This works with all difficulty levels:
1. Close airports and docks in uninfected areas
2. Deport infected
3. Hand out mask in infected areas with most population
4. Hand out mask in all infected areas until vaccine is ready
5. Vaccinate all infected areas until there are less then 10% of healthy population
6. Vaccinate areas near infected or areas with most population

There are a lot of ways to win, but this is mine way : 1. Close all borders. 2. Place road blocks between infected and "clean" states. 3. If a state is infected, ban the domestic tourism and permitt foreign tourism. 4. If a state is not infected, permitt the domestic tourism and ban foreign tourism. 5. If a infected state gets "clean" open al road blocks. 6. Keep repeating step 2, 3, 4 and 5 until all states get "clean". If you think this is usefull, press +. PS : If its going too slow for you, you can use curfews, masks and vaccines.

the best plan is to make everyone either Immune, or dead, send immunization stuff to the states bordering infected states, and you will make it work

in order for a land to be cleansed 90% of the population must die. the other ten either are immune or just plain lucky.

Freaking Panic.... Needed 1% of immunity to win.. OUT OF NOWHERE the media goes on a rampage and starts attacking!!! Filled the bar in 25 seconds -_-

If on extreme choose open govt, though this works for all types/difficulties: 1) Close domestic travel for infected & foreign travel for clean (do so for the entire game, keep an eye out). 2) Close border to Canada. 3) Hand out masks to all infected states as often as you can. If on extreme, spin the media. 4) Once vaccine is up, distribute to 3-5 states, (what you can afford). 5) When a state has <1k healthy, stop and vaccinate a different state. 6) Once southern states clear up, close border to Mexico. 7) When all but 1-2 are clean, road block those states. 8) Wait and hopefully win before 40 days.

where you can be either the virus or the government trying to eradicate the virus and those that are infected

How to beat the game: distribute masks in infected states, while you save money for vacination; keep the distribution, but save money; when vacine is ready, start with the infected states, then go to the nearby states, and so on; be careful not to get out of money, the money you saved should last until you finished the infected states, all at the same time; after that, go three or four states at a time. Quit the state when 90%-95% of population is immune and go to the next one; for extreme mode, I found easier the open goverment, and instead of masks I used the campaign, it was cheaper and more effective.
