If you saw my other comment, Here Is How To Win: Hand out masks to each infected state until Vaccine is developed. Then hit infected states with vaccine. If a state is REALLY BAD hand out masks. I got the underachiver trohpy. :)

This is the hardest set of batches in a very long while, also New Jersy should be called New Madagascar. I can literally close down every airport and harbour and it still is infected even though all neighbours are clean.

Was really disappointed to see that the news reports themselves never change, weather I have open or totalitarian government, and weather I'm manipulating the media or not. Was looking forward to reading about how wonderful it is these disease-spreading foreigners were being deported by our glorious leader!

Would help if states changed color not only to indicate infection %, but also to indicate vaccinated % and weather or not there is rioting/looting. Opening and closing each state window gets tiresome. Also, a "stop all road block operations at once" button would be nice.

I think there was a glitch or omthing, suddenly about 5 states started rioting and looting, after that 3 more states did before i lost... GENIOUS! :P

@BadgeLord I did too, but i did it just because i wanted to knw how it looked when a city gets nuked. Besides, LV was getting raped by infections, so i thought: "Well, they gave me nukes...hmmm...maybe if i just launch a tiny little nuke...Yeah, they wont notice it before they're dead."

keep an eye on your distributing of vacines sometimes everybody but 1 is imune but you keep pouring money into that state, money that could be used somewhere else

Your view of human resistance to such a simple virus as well as the fact that you believe peopl freak out more about texas getting one infected visitor AfTER EVERYONE GETS VACCINATED after the fact that pennsylvania is completely devoid of life bugs the crap out of me.

I got all states but new Hampshire and maine, they had 30 and 5200 people left infection, but the stupid idiots left the vaccine for nothing.

I've determined that Wyoming is the source of the disease as for 2 games in a row, with borders, airports, and seaports all shut down, with no surrounding states infected, it has spontaneously generated an infection.

Leech0530: I went the other route. I took closed govt, closed the borders, blocked international travel and applied "extreme tactics." It achieved complete eradication.

How I won Surgeon General Badge: Open Gov. Only hand out masks & do info campaign until vaccine is found. Give vaccine to states with highest healthy population that does not have hospitals (= highest # of ppl getting vaccine = fast increase in immuned), stop giving vaccine once it stops or # of healthy ppl is low enough (500k, for me) then give vaccine to other states with highest healthy ppl. Rinse and repeat, while stopping hospitals when the number of healthy ppl in its state is also low enough to save $1000 per day. Also, use money efficiently by starting operations at the beginning of the day and end them at the end of the day. In this strategy, nation window (white house icon) is your best friend: it shows # of immune, healthy, and infected people in each state and allows to jump right into those states by clicking magnifying glass icon. I finished the game almost entirely in fast speed and with dead population still in 0%, so there should be enough room for mistakes.

Tip: the average government is the hardest to work with. Play on easy mode to get used to the game and unlock open government. Then complete hard mode with open government to unlock closed, and do it again with closed before trying it on average.
