Best way on hard for any governemnt is to buy masks until you get vaccine, and ban the domestic travel, and then immunize the big states; Illinois, California, Texas, Pennsylvania and New York and Georgia, plus extreme policies helps but only use if you can control Panic.

I feel that I've won the game about half an hour in on hard mode. I know I've won. Then two hours have passed with the last hour of it having sporadic 1 person infections nearly causing the panic to dissolve the country, and only two states not vaccinated.
Enjoyable as a reverse pandemic at the start, but unlike pandemic, is too boring and too long.

Declassified operation iceberg: Set the date on ur computer to april the 1st, then start a new game on any difficulty, be ready for total madness as the U.S.A. map will turn upside down, like the controls and the media will speak backwards so you'll never know what they're saying

I think this pandemic genre has a lot of potential for multiplayer, one player runs a country and tries to protect it from the pandemic while the other attempts to spread it.

I was down to under 500 infected in the entire country, no non-inoculated in their state or any of the neighbours, then suddenly "defeat by time". I really hate that mechanic.

Your view of human resistance to such a simple virus as well as the fact that you believe peopl freak out more about texas getting one infected visitor AfTER EVERYONE GETS VACCINATED after the fact that pennsylvania is completely devoid of life bugs the crap out of me.

so the entire country is clean except for about 5 people in one state and your deadline is approaching fast, lets spread the infection to the one state that you haven't imunized

wow, thanks mexico, day 38 and guess what? the "fully" immunized state of new mexico had 2000 people ill and 0 healthy and like, 8m immunized

Best Strategy: close all airports and seaports, except Colorado which still provides revenue. Roadblock Florida no matter what happens. Keep giving Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Idaho masks. Then inoculate those states. The goal is not to let it spread to Washington, Oregon, North of Arizona(except Nevada And California or east of the Mississippi River. If worst comes to worst, save the NorthEast by inoculating Pennsylvania, New York, And Maryland.

There are a lot of ways to win, but this is mine way : 1. Close all borders. 2. Place road blocks between infected and "clean" states. 3. If a state is infected, ban the domestic tourism and permitt foreign tourism. 4. If a state is not infected, permitt the domestic tourism and ban foreign tourism. 5. If a infected state gets "clean" open al road blocks. 6. Keep repeating step 2, 3, 4 and 5 until all states get "clean". If you think this is usefull, press +. PS : If its going too slow for you, you can use curfews, masks and vaccines.

I figured out how to get the operation iceberg trophy. Just beat the game on any diffuculty with any government type on april 1st, or you can swich the date on your computer to april first. + So others can see!

Once a state becomes infected, it seems there isn't any way for it to be uninfected until all the sick people die. It's ridiculously annoying. I keep running out of time on hard mode. -.-
