But you didn't have to check it every frame, just when you obtain a new fish or at least when you open the options screen.

I lost the files for MSFI in a hard drive crash before you even posted this comment sadly. The game won't be getting any more updates, though I may make a sequel in the future. The website is also down at the moment because I'm too broke to renew the domain

i was looking into the levels unlockable modes and i gotta say dark zone all the way through mouse avoider looks Awesome XD
It's about about 90% done. I'm working on feeding and a special surprise feature. After that, I just have to code the shop to make it so you can actually buy all the stuff I've made, and V1.3 will be all set.

It needs a save button, when i accidentally navigated away from the game it had lost all my progress when i came back
You shouldn't have. The game automatically saves every time the bar fills (meaning it's impossible to lose any more progress than you would if I had a save button).
What browser and operating system are you using? Could you perhaps have cookies turned off? Or your data storage set to 0?

This developer nothing but game with insane performance issues. 8 Bit graphics any noob can be a developer, Kongregate has no quality control.

The save seems to be working for me now...it must have had something to do with me having system updates pending cause after I restarted my computer I haven't lost anything else
