Why would I bother? Didn't you see it before and say it wasn't good enough? That's always the response from you folks. There's no player mutiny. Everyone knows what's going on and what happened. There's nothing actually left for me to answer.

to be honest, Delos, It's significantly more likely that the stalkers that have it out for Clout infiltrated your hosting company, and have been "tripping" over the cables that link your server to the world than our ISPs messing with traffic heading to/from your server and your server alone.

Our sources report that the recent flurry of self-promotional advertising funded by Norman Jayden has come to a close today. Based on preliminary surveys of its effects, the campaign was moderately effective. X 11. Lemme help you, Q.
Nope.

Thanks for answering to my message, i think that you responding to every comment creates a kind of bond with the players and you 5/5 :)
It definitely seems to be something people like about the game. Part of what's helped me improve Clout is all the comments/reports/etc from players over the years, so it seems like it's good for everyone when I interact with the players.

Game says: "You should read/watch teh tutorial before you start because the game is very complex" Yes the game is very complex! AND i can't find the tutorial :( How am I supposed to get into it?
The tutorial starts as soon as you create your character. Look in the log on your status screen. The one that had "HEY LISTEN" pop up over it when you created.

Ok you asked me to elaborate so i am. I committed suicide cause I didn't get the game and made a mistake....Now whenever I create my character it says in the top left corner hacking is bad mmmkay?
Because getting a binary bill to its max point value doesn't immediately pass it. Any % over 100 will automatically pass at the end of the duration unless it's brought back down below 100 before that.
I've actually been thinking about this question since you asked it. It doesn't exactly have any good answer. The way it is now I think it comes after, but I realized either entirely after or before wouldn't really be an accurate model. Even something like the compound interest formula doesn't really cover the taxation aspect, though I could calculate the debt rise itself more accurately. I think what I'm going to do in the near term is make half of it come before the multiplier, and half after.

Accounts in Switzerland and the Caymans also provide interest, so perhaps that similarity should exist here as well. You know, in the interests of realism.
Are you sure? I would wager that those accounts are not interest-earning and actually have a fee associated with them. Investments and savings accounts are very different.

how do you have enough clout to buy abilities yet you can't buy rhetoric every time it becomes ineffective. Most people would think that this game is capable of 'casual' gameplay. But, since we are in a desperate situation i guess the reds need to be more prepared for sacrificing all the hard work to win a stupid yet excellent game!

Any chance of "Appeal to Religion" making it into the game? Quite realistic of a thing to use, though it hopefully wouldn't start a flame war.

If you're still investigating the deal with SDSilver, I'll give a quick testimony in case it's helpful. Nureth introduced Clout to a bunch of friends at my school, including me. A lot of powerful/semi-powerful red players (and one yellow) are all really good IRL friends, so it's possible and even likely SDSilver and sprspr would have made their accounts around the same time and used them on the same network. I can give you specific usernames of our other friends who can tell you the same thing if you think it'd be helpful.

As clarification, this future game should be part of Clout. Perhaps "The Campaign Trail" should allow you to run for president as well, from your congressional character.
You'll be able to participate in presidential campaigns via Rubicon eventually. Seriously, you should be following the facebook page if you're thinking this far into things. You'll see a lot of ideas like this that I post.

And perhaps, as a future (inter-connected) game concept, you could make it possible to be elected president. President would then be able to appoint from actual players, all cabinet positions, CIA & FBI directors, and any empty supreme court seats. Make this happen. *Drools.*
That is definitely the only way that you'll ever be able to be president. It would need to be a totally separate game to even have a chance of being something fun/interesting. Also, how hilarious would it be to have a game that literally only one person in the world can play at a time?

Of course, I can't introduce the two bills mentioned before except through campaign contributions. But that shouldn't matter, either way the bill is something that Green Constituents should approve of correct?
There could be, but I deliberately made it so they aren't on the list. You should use a bit more strategy with those. They'd also clog up the list for a lot longer than normal bills do.
I don't really see how this would encourage more activity. If anything it'd just split the playerbase and destroy the game. It also wouldn't make much sense in general as other governments don't function quite like ours. So they'd need an entirely different system per-country... meaning a massive amount of work.

Have an idea for a skullduggery mission: Send a secret message to a player. Done successfully, it would be anonymous. One possible failure is that it's traced to you. Another is that it never arrives. Has no scandal, but the risk is that the intended recipient discovers you as the sender.
Don't forget Germany. But yes, this is a much closer approximation to what the US actually does. Realistically it ends up costing us quite a lot of money, especially in the long run to maintain military bases and such. Then a weird situation happens where a good bit of the native populace actually lobby for the US military to stay because they funnel money into the local economy.
They're randomly generated, but I assure you they do get sent out. Terribly sorry you haven't had the opportunity to collect on such a lucrative offer yet.
um... illicit drugs aren't taxed, being that they're illegal. However, there will be bills that alter the price of drugs (and booze, also in the lobby).

It'd be very convenient if you could travel directly to an associate or crony's profile by clicking on their name from "Cronies and Associates" > "Main" page. Can't do that at the bottom.

The citizens of countries are mostly buisennes men. when theres a bill like max wage then it would obviously get challenged. Though something like "Repeal child labor laws" would be ignored and passed. The citizens call challenges on bills and your only chance of getting a anti-capitalist bill to pass court is having lots of anti-capatilist supreme court....am i right
?.......therefore citizens only call challenges on bills that will give them cons and not benefits.
