I'm a front page noob, so i can't speak for the past community, but i can speak for the current community. Clout is the most realistic political simulator i've ever played, no joke. The community ranges from radicals willing to sacrifice the country for their moral views, to liberals willing to vote against their own party to help the county, to politicians for hire who will vote on any bill so long as they get paid, to noobs who try to raise the debt with funding bills. Throw in drug addiction, scandals, assassination attempts, and a national debt that has reached over 100 trillion at one point, and you have a nice clout salad. Definitely earned 5 stars.

I would love sending blackmail to other Congressperson not for money but to stop them saying bad things about my wonderful bill I payed with Clout. And just think:

I had assumed that it would be fine since they would be on different servers..
But they're not, and I want to make sure that I'm not violating the rules, since you said that I could only have one account here on Kong.

I think that there should be more equipment available for purchase after Clout Tier Three to keep it fresh for long-running players. Other than that, I play this every day because of how... realistic... it is

I think that the fact that every CongressPerson needs to wear either a ceramic helmet or battle armour when going to Congress in order to prevent being murdered should make the people afraid. Yes, very afraid. Muah. Muaha. Muahaha. MUAHAHAHAHAHA
The game has been subjected to various kinds of rating fraud over the course of its history. The rating which people tend to actually rate it at in the present averages around a 4.

It might be interesting and easier to add a function that makes it possible to see which bills you are currently supporting.
Not in an absolute sense. Debt affects nation rank via GDP:debt ratio as well as per-capita GDP. There's no reasonable way you could make a system by which some arbitrary amount of debt is "bad" without a running reference.

So I can't run two media slanders on a guy. All I get is "Don't double click important buttons". It's not restricting me because of time cap, since it was two days ago I ran the first one. Is it a hiccup in the game code, or what?

Okay, I know I've asked at least 100 times and my ideas have been shot down but I shall ask them once more! When will I be able to be a giraffe? When will we get a Honeybadger in office? When will I be allowed to ride on an airline naked regardless of how many small children are seated next to me? When will we have tournaments to see who can fend off the most infants before they fall? When will I be able to kick kids in the stomach for being little terrorist shits? When will I be allowed to ride a T-Rex into congress with an escort of dead-er T-Rexes? When will mommy love me?

not sure if this is practical, but what if you could implement disasters into the game, a little extra challenge. Just a thought
They already have been implemented. They're just not common. About 1/month on average. I may increase the frequency if the nation stats keep being super good.

So, I got a question/possibly bug report. Occasionally, when I go to vote to double or halve the effects of a bill in committee, and I click on the buttons, I'm redirected to a page saying something along the lines of "It's not okay to cheat, mmmk?" This rather confuses me, as I swear I'm not cheating (let's get that out of the way now, and please don't respond saying that I'm clearly cheating). For what reason might this happen? Refreshing the game gets rid of the screen, and I can vote just fine on the same committee.
