this game is pretty fun! It should have ether a long mission/story mode and a pvp type option cause past the m8ssion and challenge mode it gets dull with no content.

I don't play the card games much, but this one was really cool! Not overly complicated, good combat interface, strategic, customizable, and some story lines (in game and on cards). I like the fact that there are different themed cards to choose from. It really reminded me of "Spellfire", I loved that game!

Better than Kongai, but that's not saying much. The design definitely doesn't understand what is an appropriate cost for various effects or how to balance various strategies against each other. I just threw all of the efficient red creatures and kill spells with the incredibly broken white spell that lets you pay 3 life to destroy anything and stomped my way through all of the challenges. Only other card needed is the (also broken) red spell that makes all of your creatures huge for a turn.

At last challenge AI (Countess Nelova) played silence card - it says that no cards may be played for one turn... umm this card seem to hang forever and card can be played except one (mine) which is already at the game table is it a bug or smth?

I won the entire game with the very first deck I created (an all blue one). Furthermore, the AI was *dumb* as heck. This combined with the lack of multiplayer makes it an ok game, not a great one. It was fun for what it was, but has no long-term replayability.

This brings back memories. This was one of my favorite games before I got a kong account. I'll try to find an obnoxious purple build dedicated to destroying energy and your enemies' hands soon :3

Personally I think there should be a mode where there aren't any special conditions (not to say that was a bad idea). Just a 60 card deck by the computer with you being able to choose their color(s) and a deck of your own. Sort of a free play mode. I love the game otherwise.

I can't seem to be able to use modifier or instant cards, it's just stuck with the cursor not clicking on anything and I can't cancel it. I'm stuck at mission 2.

I completed the 12 missions without fail. Except once when I got a full hand of no creature cards and there was no way to get rid of unless cards that I couldn't use. This is relaxing to me in a weird way. It would be better if it was updated more since this is popular, and if you can discard cards.

"Hmm, only got 2 lives left, lets sacrifices 3 lives to kill one of his creatures!" "Hmm, my creature with power 1 has only one unblockable skill, better give him another one, just to be save." "My two archers can't block, he has a creature with power 4. Better pump my archer with +1 for this turn and NOT attack this turn." - If the AI wasn't that stupid, it might have been a fine game. The lack of skilled opponents is the big downfall of this game.

I started playing this game back when it was first posted. Here we are 10 years later I am 28 and I still come back to this to play through once a year. This is one of the best solo CCGs I have ever found.

@ TCiLLnEsS - I assume you speak of the level "Crumbling Ruins"? While a certain amount of luck is involved, this game is mostly strategic. As for the Memory Serpent, a simple unit with 1 hitpoint can block that massive attack. The unit will die in the course, but it will have rendered the card useless and averted the loss of life.

i give it a 4, would've gotten a 5 if it had a skirmish mode or something where you could fight a random opponent with the decks you built

This game reminds me a lot of Magic: The Gathering. There is nothing seriously wrong but perhaps add multi-player and more cards. I also think that there should be more cards that you have to unlock making it logical to have a card-trading system.

I found the easiest deck to use for all the challenges was a full white creature deck. Only keep in health regen cards, monster destroying, and unblockable modifiers, and nothing can stop you. Worked wonders on all the challenges.

Red isn't the only swarm option. Here's a deck for Blue fans:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
x3 Hive Mind, x3 Pincer Bot, x5 Hrathian Bot, x3 SS Sentry.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Strategy is simple - increase power constantly up to 4-5 - once you get there, start drawing cards. Play cards to consume all power. Hive Minds are critical once you get at least 3 bots out - they stack and don't count for the limit of 6 soldiers, which is nice.

Way too short, some cards way over powered, some pathetic, would have liked to see more in a game like this, the ideas were really good, and the potential was amazing, but didn't quite do it for me sorry. :(

Dag-g!! Everytime I use an action card (i.e. 'Hardy Steed') & try to target/click a card - it freezes!! I can't even cancel the action or quit the game. I'm left with the little red target icon that does nothing. I've refreshed the game several times & each time the same thing happens. This game sux!! I'm going back to Tryant! At least it plays right! >^_^<

The IA is a way too easy to anticipate; also the game is based too much on creatures. The idea draw or gain power is pretty good but it advantages too much faster decks.

There is something I don't understand. When we have a full hand, why should our power increase automatically while there are 5 different powers? We should be able to choose what power we want to increase.
