enemy commander:"yes, keep up the slow pace, come up to him from 1 side at a time. Let him mine a little, so he can have the resource to put up more of a fight..."
scout:"Sir! He's now equipped with nuclear warheads and ready to launch!"
enemy commander:"Don't worry, he can only nuke the area surrounding himself. keep up the good work, and he will destroy the base for us. See? now our work is done here, we'll withdraw..."

Found a useful glitch. Click and hold to fire then drag your pointer just outside of the game window. The result is an auto-fire that saves some forefinger ache during long games.

If you're having trouble beating Hard and getting the Legend of SOTER badge, here are some tips. Don't EMP until lvl 6, and then mainly against lots of ground units, & don't repair until after 7. If a lvl doesn't go well, press ESC and restart it. At some points a new lvl or group only begins if you kill all remaining enemies, so if you're careful you can leave an enemy alive longer and gain more minerals. LEVELS--1: Use 1-2 rockets 2: buy nothing; use 3-4 rockets 3: buy 1 mine; use last rockets 4: 1 rocket 1 mine & rdr HARDWARE 5: 1 rocket 1 mine & weapon upgrade 6: Advanced recycling & rockets; use rockets/EMP sparingly 7: 2 rockets 1 mine 1 EMP 1 shield & rdr SOFTWARE 8: Weapon upgrade 4 shields 3 EMP 2 rockets & repairs; use lots of rockets and nuke Cormorant 9: 1 nuke and the rest as needed 10: Rolling in the dough, go go go! Buy enough to have full health, 4-6 nukes, 60-100 rockets, and ~20 EMP. This is the last level so don't hold back, and you'll soon get your hard badge.

nearly two hours for both hard badges... my thumb is aching :< (playing this game with the touchpad of my laptop isn't fun at all >)

great job. i haven't seen many recent games done this way with older style gameplay done so well and tight. looking forward to seeing more of your ideas come to life.

The game is indeed nicely done, it gives a real 3D feel. The sound effects are great, and it is quite challenging. But there are downsides: it becomes sort of repetitive, there should definitely be more weapons and/or upgrades and more types of units. A solid 4/5.

the last levels are not that hard and i ahd it on hard you just need to stack up nukes and missles some emp no more than 5 and by the time you get pass level 8 you should have upgraded all ur mining and killing reclyer

I thing shooting games should be like THIS: AUTOFIRE ALWAYS ON. If you want to stop firing, hold down the left mouse button

My laptop has been acting slow lately but I swear when I accidentally launched 2 EMPs it froze! I enjoyed this game, I felt like an AT-AT driver slaughtering the rebels on hoth when I had everything maxed. Thanks for the 91 points! 5/5 :D

Dang this bunker you use it well fortified...somewhat. It can take a lot of hits from nukes, no problem...but rockets or bullets deplete its shielding and armor very quickly...

AJ: The EMP will reveal the invisible enemies. Costs less than the nuke for 3 of them, so according to your standards it's a bargain ;)

Dude. When that Cormorant went over the base my heart stopped. That thing is more of a fear weapon than an actual damaging weapon x.x

This game is incredible. I suck at it, but I can still recognize that it is a fantastic game. The atmosphere of a bleak, empty world is very well done, the combat is amazingly fun, and the sound effects are very good. 5/5.

I love how the weapons have costs such that buying them is actually viable, i.e. you can actually use the nuke in non-you're-about-to-die situations w/ worrying about $$$ too much if you have all the $ upgrades. Same deal on rockets and EMPs. And yet, gunning isn't obsolete either. It is and excellent game, especially in terms of pricing. 5/5, definitely - and I'm not normally one who likes FPS.

I saw 4 commodores coming from each side on the map. I just kept calm and set off a nuke that surprisingly didn't blow me up.

Double the firepower, DOUBLE THE FUN! :D. Need more upgrades, cos I had nearly 2k points to spend on nukes after level 9 :O.

The good news no more enemies, the bad news due to the high levels of radiation from the 25 consecutive nukes that were used to destroy said enemies you will have to wait four generations until it is safe to go outside.

I agree with Asher3 on he radar and mining, but let me add that in instead of missiles, upgrade your recycle as soon as possible, then your primary weapon. Resources start to pile up to ridiculous levels around wave 5. Wave 10 was a beauty with 4 nukes, 15 emps and 100+ missiles.

Awsome game 5/5, and very nice choice of the badge of the day. I'm glad the admins discovered that Sola Rola was unplayable. +30 points, and 5/5:)

I tried this game when it first came out and didn't like it. Can't for the life of me think why though, this is brilliant.
Thank god for badge of the day making me try old games again.

Difficulty very well planned . Easy = Never lose shield , Medium = Bunker gets slightly damaged in full game , Hard = Im possibly hard , takes a lot of time
