Awsome game 5/5, and very nice choice of the badge of the day. I'm glad the admins discovered that Sola Rola was unplayable. +30 points, and 5/5:)

I just finished the game on normal mode :D... You don't know how hard that was! I don't think I will try this game again on Hard Mode xD

If you're having trouble beating Hard and getting the Legend of SOTER badge, here are some tips. Don't EMP until lvl 6, and then mainly against lots of ground units, & don't repair until after 7. If a lvl doesn't go well, press ESC and restart it. At some points a new lvl or group only begins if you kill all remaining enemies, so if you're careful you can leave an enemy alive longer and gain more minerals. LEVELS--1: Use 1-2 rockets 2: buy nothing; use 3-4 rockets 3: buy 1 mine; use last rockets 4: 1 rocket 1 mine & rdr HARDWARE 5: 1 rocket 1 mine & weapon upgrade 6: Advanced recycling & rockets; use rockets/EMP sparingly 7: 2 rockets 1 mine 1 EMP 1 shield & rdr SOFTWARE 8: Weapon upgrade 4 shields 3 EMP 2 rockets & repairs; use lots of rockets and nuke Cormorant 9: 1 nuke and the rest as needed 10: Rolling in the dough, go go go! Buy enough to have full health, 4-6 nukes, 60-100 rockets, and ~20 EMP. This is the last level so don't hold back, and you'll soon get your hard badge.

You can get more resources in campaign mode by not finishing off a wave, and thus your mining stations more time to mine. On some levels it's a trade off, HP for resources, but on some like level 4 you have 4 distinct waves and the flier can't damage you as fast as your shield recharges.

I think the levels were pretty balanced. By level 9 and 10 you should be buying a lot of EMP. You get 3 for 100 credits. I went into level 10 with 15 EMPs and 3 nukes and i didnt have much trouble. Its pretty clear that you are expected to use a lot of EMPs. Otherwise, it would be impossible.

Nice game! As a small suggestion, I would like to rotate freely, rather than simply switch between 4 directions. Thanks!

I love how there's an achievement called "The Miser" when you can't buy upgrades until the end of the level in the standard game mode. Miser? Right. Give me a shop. Give me a friggin shop!

Pro tip: hold down the trigger and then move your cursor out of the flash window. Release the mouse button before re-entering the flash window and you'll have auto-fire. Nice!

5/5 - I dig the lo-fi graphics, like it's an old atari game.

To squirrelfeet, the reason for a bunker in the middle of an open plain is obvious. It has a perfect 360 degree view and cannot be snuck up on.

ehhhh, I didn't read the info on the Cormorant and when I started unloading on the big orange muvva and it just kept coming I was like 'whoooo!? wtf!?'

Not a bad game, but the Jackal achievement is kind of bugged - didn't get it after completing the game then replaying level 10 (on hard), had to restart the whole thing and destroy the cormorant on level 8.

Lastly, my tip for the Cormorant's on level 10. By 10 you should have all your other upgrades maxed. So, buy as many nukes and missiles as you can afford. Even with their insanely high health, a few nukes work well.

First off, Thank you for using WSAD, my arrow keys are broken and it's amazing how many games only use them. This is DYOG's best game. They did a great job making a 3D environment using just a wireframe environment. Lots of times you're forced to take damage though since...obviously you can't be facing every direction at once. So you have to just take out a little bit from each side. ..They did get out of hand with the Cormorant's health though. if one comes at the same time other units start attacking...you're going to have to ignore them. Even if you start unloading on it the second you can..it's difficult to take out in time.

By the end, Cormorant's don't seem quite as tough... After all, you have missiles, nukes, and a serious main gun. And then a pair of them shows up.

the game is just perfect in so many ways. i found the difficulty to be perfect, just hard enough that you barely make it (on hard). and the music combined with the sound effects aswell as the environment made it feel like you're truly the last man standing and is ready to fight!

dont normaly like defence games but this one was good, the fps style and the way the weapons worked(sounds and the recoil) and the enemies, also loved the sound the planes made when theyd pass over, even the size/speed of sertain enemies reflected nice realism(fav was the big bombers),despite the basic polygon graphics(wich was great)it felt real enuf to give me the same excitement as a modern day fps does, and this is comin from a 20yr old dude who plays games like Battlefield 3 al day long, lol, lookin forward to a posible sequel
