I'm guaranteed first strike for the next 3 attacks... yet each of my next 3 attacks the enemy attacked first! what trickery is this?!?

Nice game, but... I play only second time, I spent my gold from 1st one to upgrade vampire's 1st skill twice and started new game with him. Now I'm on 56 floor with 480 hp and it's still rising... Looks rather imbalanced eh? The game has nice gameplay, lots of diferent monsters, etc. If only it was much more challenging, and had some kind of end, like a BIG and STRONG boss on lvl 100, so you have to die several times to get a lot of gold and upgrade ur hero enough to beat the game... that would be 5/5. There I can't give more than 4/5, as it really bored me

What you should add is when you kill an ogre or goblin king if you get shows all traps monsters in barrels should count as traps

There is a bug you can't stop playing HEH. No seriusly when a expodig pig is a mini boss and you kill him, the other monsters keep the attack buff

Wow, i guess u can't get more than 999 hp.... makes me sad for some reason.
For realz tho, beer dude is so OP, used him on my 3rd run after maxing his second skill and ended up having to quit cuz i couldnt die. >.<

Loved the game found myself addicted very quickly ... enjoy the concept alot but what is the actual benefits of the books?? doesnt really say except +to hp after I buy one for 800gold hmmmmm ... another thing is that you should be able to pickup where you left off or suicide for those who dont have endless hours of play time (would get more casual gamers into it) another thing would be to expand on the random quest function and the addition of epic level bosses after say lvl 99 create a door (like arena) where the boss is surronded by support enemies, option to select equipment reward from random 3 prizes and huge HP and Atk Bonus.

there needs to be like some kind of menu button , to go back cuz' its jut a waste of time if you go to the "main menu" then all your progress will be lost

Ok, not only this didn't save my progress when I came back (and yeh, I was playing other flash games and those DID save it) but the shop issue someone mentioned is still there, and the cape doesn't work.
Not to mention, at second round, using a vampire with lvl2 drain, dying was basicly impossible.

Some of the spawn rates needs to change. I only had on shop this round, so early that I only had 300 gold for it(this is with fully clearing every floor) and I never ran into another one again. I hit 10k gold sitting in my pocket.

What with the initiative system? Monsters attack before me/at the same time as often with a vampire than with an assassin using an agility rune...

Well, you can tell that this is clearly a fictitious game, because in real life I think there are a hell of a lot of guys who would date the heck out of a girl who promised explosions during a date. I know I most definitely would. That would be the kind of lass you'd marry right there.

Thats weird. THe game said I would die. A Lot. Here I am my first playthrough at level 25 with tons of gold, an extra life, and full health. Not...exactly what I call dying a lot.

yeah this game has a good idea but some serious flaws balancewise. to make the idea of 'dying to improve' valiad the difficulty needs to ramp up at a faster pace, i played one game as paladin. died on floor 32 mostly of bredom. leveld a vamp and had the same experience of everyone else who leveld a vamp. its just too easy.

add a berserker class that has 3DPS, floor needed is 63, it has a 8% chance of instant killing an enemy, 67 hp, and slow.
