Nice game with side stories and all. Also glad to see unique buildings and specialties for different clans. It can get tiresome however having to wait sometimes for quest to be done, stuff to be produced. All in all nice game.

love the idea of it and the story you unfold, the waiting can get a bit tiresome but at least you can earn some of the currency by logging in daily if you really want it.

It just takes way too long to get started. 5 clicks, then wait 30 min. Sorry, nothing fun or interesting about that. Waste of a great IP.

not bad at all, could do with a few improvements such as setting items to be made in queues but overall, GoT:Ascent is prety good.

It would be useful to have a link to a development tree like the one in Civilisation from the start, it would allow us to decide where I am building (bow, pike, crossbow for example)I would also like to know about command points.

Was really getting into this game; I really was. I loved how it was woven into the GoT storyline, how your choices mattered. I loved the way production was handled, and how you dealt with your advisers and sell swords. It was incredibly well done ... up to a point. It fell apart for me when a majority of my gold disappeared. That was the breaking point. 3 weeks worth, just gone. That, coupled with the realization that nothing I do with my sell swords (train and equip) matter in the slightest. I can up their stats all I want; it all comes down to the roll of a die - a die that I can not seem to affect. That turns what on the outside looks like a strategy game into a nicely dressed video game of roulette. So sad :'(

Game interface looks crap too stop making these click em' up games and go with some more intense action games please for the love of god...

I'm surprised it has this many plays to be honest...I guess people are just dimwitted to enforce these games to keep being made because lazy developers just don't want to put way more effort into the animation. i.e Roblox...but I am going to go with my gut feeling and say they can't even use the Roblox studio.

I agree with STWisak the game takes ages to get anywhere which will drive away a lot of people and you greedy little snobs who run this should get up off your high chairs and give us some real support for people who don't wish to pay instead of enforcing the "we will just make it so very long that you want to pay", no I will just not play the game :)

As much as I like GoT, everything takes up way too much time here. Pay2Skip is okay for F2P title, but its kinda overloaded with it and anything but balanced between Free/Premium.

One of my favourite games so far, despite some of the 'pay to play' mechanics. The whole idea that you can build your own reputation for being kind or being a tyrant, is one of the first I've seen on one of these kind of games. Great job.

the time on quests is carefully laid out so that you have loads of time to spend money so as not to get bored - clever but mercenary. Its a shame it seems to be a simulation as opposed to a game where you can alter the outcome of the book.

Ah. I'm stopping playing. I hadn't realised there were basic building upgrades that you could only get with gold coins. I don't mind it being a little slower if you're not prepared to pay. But being hamstrung makes the game pointless.
Unless you're prepared to invest in the game, I wouldn't waste your time.
I am sorry to see you go, Gestr!
Thank you for your feedback.
I would like to point out that those upgrades are not basic and that there is a gold reward (between 2 and 5) when you log for 7 days in a row.
So it is possible to gain enough gold for those upgrades just by logging in every day :)

I like not having a queue for most things. It is a simple way to make sure your power in the game is determined by the time and work you put into it.

Why is this game allowed to be on Kongregate? It is hardly free. It is a blatantly obvious pay-to-win with exhorbitant real life prices! This is supposed to be a site full of FREE GAMES!

It should really say how long upgrades to buildings will take. Given that time is such a valuable commodity in this game its annoying to not be able to plan!
