Game not worth the trouble.... Waiting hours to get anything done is just terrible... Every single thing is on a timer right now and the shortest is 45 minutes.

I'm running firefox on a 1280x800 display and this just does not fit on to the screen - how hard can it be to check something as simple as this works?

All in all a well made game, but so far subject to most all the pitfalls of the genre. More stuff available for less money will get you more small amounts from the casual players and add up to more than a few bigger amounts from fewer players. But maybe a percentage is already being pulled of the top for licensing.

A better implementation of the fb type game, but very skewed towards paying money. 2 days in now and while I've been enjoying the story the cost of extra sworn swords means I've been moving at a plod. There are times early on when you can afford a 2nd, but their importance isn't as obvious early on. It's not until Ch2 that you're really handling multiple story-lines, and by then you've put all your money into buildings you can't do anything with yet. I'd love to see an option to buy a couple $k in silver that only cost a couple bucks instead of having to start at $5 worth and go from there; and the costs in and for gold push this game towards "another facebook semi-pay game" very quickly. A good job has been done on making things happen /just/ fast enough to keep me logged in, but that will only work for a few days. Unlike on FB it's less easy to have other friends on Kon playing, so the rising number of friend slots (10 in a ch.2 quest) makes solo player me nervous for the future.

Adding friends is rather lethargic. I recommend a button that allows you to friend everyone in your alliance, for example, to simplify the process.

... Seriously? There can't be multiple responses? There aren't other things besides "lemon cakes" we could throw at the bear to distract him? I'd be major upset if I threw away all my delicious lemon cakes to stop a bear... I dunno, there just has to be something more serious and less hilarious.
I do have a good idea for this game... An option to turn down game quality, or if there is one an easier way to find it such as right-clicking like you should normally do for anything programmed in Flash. This game lags the flippin' FLOP out of my computer even when this is the only tab I have open. I need a way to weaken its graphical quality so that the performance doesn't bite.

I'm only here for the badges, if it didn't have them i wouldn't be playing this game, it is way to slow and not enough activity, if it didn't have timers or at least they were shortened by alot this game *might* be better.

I've never had a game on kong spam me until now. If you don't want the messages here's what to do. In your mailbox, press the delete link, and click the ‘block all messages from GoTA’ then check box on the pop up then press the blue delete button to confirm the action." Advice is from donseptico and works. you only have to do it once and the rest of the messages dissapear.

If the game doesn't work and you have adblock disable it. It worked for me.

Why does it cost 5 gold to heal 2 woulds, but 11 gold to heal 4 wounds? Charging more isn't the best way to make money, increasing the demand is.

It's nice to see the developer responding to comments. Unfortunately none of the responses address any of the issues at all. The wait times are way too long. After playing for a couple days the wait times for quests are already up to a couple hours. Don't you know you have to hook new players before you up the waiting times if you want people to play through the bs? Instead you are just going to drive people away. I am one of those people.

This game has a command economy, so be forewarned; it needs constant supervision to stay active. They should put in a queue for items to be produced + if you agree.

Why is it that when I left the game overnight all my productions and gold kept going whether finishing their time or acruing, but my injured Sworn Sword reset back to the last injury marker I left the game on?
My sworn sword injury timer reset to what I left it at, but every other timer kept moving forward.

One of the better games of this style that I have played. The detail in the story and dialogue is very impressive. I get that this style of game makes money but it would be so much better without the multiplayer pvp junk and just a solid RPG conquest style. Either way bravo. 4/5

COULD’ve been a decent game but they fcked it up. Buttons stick; don't respond. Ive seen banner images that displayed at small native resolutions instead of stretched to fill the entire banner window. It looks amateurish. I'm not sure whats more my favorite: that if I leave the game open for any meaningful amount of time I get to come back to it hogging an unreal 1.7 million K literally requiring me to unfreeze my browser by ending its process... or the fact that some of the "speed ups" I use actually have the OPPOSITE effect. Literally I'll have 3 min X sec left and Ill click the free 5-min speed-up… and then suddenly the upgrade/quest/whatever’s (back) up to six minutes or some shit. Once had an upgrade jump back up to 25 min! If the FREE ones don't work why in God's name would I PAY for those same broken speed-ups? Word to the devs: you want more ppl to spend money on your game? Try making a game worth spending money on. Shoddy freemium P.O.S. I got my medium badge. I'm gone.

Sorry for ruining your argument, but i just used the same Sworn Sword to do a mission on Quath and Now he´s in King´s Landing, that´s quite the voyage, don´t you think? im not saying there shoudn´t be anyw aiting, but just don´t use the "realism" argument to justify an commercial feature like waiting, not when you can speed up the whole thing by up to 1 day and 4 hours to finish the quest, no, this is not about realism, it is about paying to play faster. Yes, i understand that you need the money to continue to do nice games like this one, yeah, it is a nice game and i have been playing for weeks now, but just be honest about the reasons you make us wait, if you really wanna give us a realistic gameplay, take out all the paid features and just give us an stand-alone game.

I love the game, but here on Kongregate it is super slow. I play on FB, and do not have nearly the same kind of issue. Any chance of getting some kind of adjuster so that its not such a resources hog?
