I agree that actions should have administrators for gold. In real life, rich people pay to delegate - nobles are the same way.

People who complain about the fact that the gameplay is a few minutes every once in a while: THATS HOW THIS GENRE WORKS. There are MANY browser games that work like that. If you don't like the genre, fine, but don't claim it's terrible. Having played several other games of this genre (Travian, Monstersgame, Knightfight, 8 Realms, OGame, some Pirates of the Caribbean game, perhaps even Cookie Clicker counts?), I have to say this is one of the best and I enjoy it the most and from the research about this game I have done, it seems the reincarnation system basically means that you can experience everything through a "new game +" type thing. It looks like it's pay to win if you care about being the best, but you don't have to pay anything to have fun, if this genre is fun for you - and there are many people who enjoy this genre.

Okay, i just started playing the game and im already confused about this forced tutorial somehow i got -37 coins and im stuck so i can't even get the badges!
What a wonderfull game.
Kongregate, what are you doing...

I like it, but it's mostly a decision-making and waiting game. It's not exactly slow, but you know. It still is okay. Everything works for me.

Really fun. One of the best generic, Facebook-friendly, time-based MMOs I've ever played. Those lying timers are a scourge, though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm certainly liking the game. Just wish the timers weren't so long... When you start getting to 3 hour waits, it's pretty ridiculous...

Nice idea, I like the decision making aspects of it, however this is such a pay to win game. The further you get into it the more impossible and unrewarding it is, unless you spend vast sums of money. Its a shame because it has so much potential, but is spoilt by obviously greedy and mercantile game mechanics, and I for one am not about to piss away a load of real cash on what is supposed to be a casual online game

i am rly having a problem w/this micro managing
i feel like thus game is fun to play the ideas were cool
execution fell short

I am playing only because I love GOT. This game can be better if basic resources are easier to require. I have to wait for 20 minutes for the village center to produce a stone or a fruit... Tiring
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm not opening this game more than twice a day. It takes 20 minutes to make something at the village centre, which I'm not going to wait out. Doing this twice daily, means it takes a couple of days to make even the simplest product. This game needs a production queue to make it even remotely playable.

This 'game' is ridiculous. How the hell does it have such a high rating? It's click, wait 20 minutes. Click, wait another 20 minutes. Unless you pay, you can't get anywhere. I got 210 power but can't see how I could possibly face going any further. This is the most tedious experience.

Game of Thrones is a great game. It should have a shorter name though. Something like GoT Ascent. Cos you GoTta have it.

The moment i understood how the game worked i told myself:"I'm going to be an old-fashioned Lord: loyal to the realm, but never stops cunning

For a game that is apparently from a very well staffed gaming studio, this is rather...sad. Many bugs, much lag. The Game of Thrones take on the standard browser empire building game is kind of neat though. The artwork is rather nice too. Honestly, the fact that the standard 'I paid 250$ for this in china' browser empire building game runs better (Plus has ENGRISH!) then this makes me sad. So much potential here, yet it is so weak in the force. So it gets 4/5 stars for the interesting twists on the standard templates game play, the story, and an engaging world (Even though its not original). Unfortunately it then loses 3 of those stars right away for the seriously rampant bugs and disturbingly constant lag.
1/5 stars! Add more Engrish, get another star. Fix bugs and that disturbingly constant lag, get more stars!

Fuk this stupid ass game. Look devs if you're gonna make a fuking game, do it right. Don't be a selfish piece of money grabbing shit, and don't make dumbass games!!!!!! it's pretty simple. If you have a passion for something then do it, but if you don't then don't try... you just tried with this bullshit. A revamp on the entire thing is necessary. Keep it free for the trouble -_-

The f*ck is the point of checking your storage, when it only shows you six things. Can you make some updates to this goddamn game already please?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really do like this game. It's sort of of typical city builder, but the story is rich enough to make it fun to play—especially of you're a Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire fan.
I recommend it for those with patience as the more you progress the more time things will take... unless you want to spend a bit of cash.

This game is designed to take up your entire life. Why can't they make games that are fun instead of just blatant abuse of our nature to compete with others?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's just so slow and takes so long to do anything. It might not be so bad if I could simply queue stuff, but I cannot so it is.
In Evony I could tell the barracks to produce 100 infantry units, and come back some time later and they'd be in the barracks. Here I'd have to queue up 1, wait for that one to finish, queue up the next 100 times. In this game it'd be the equivalent of queueing up 1 wood to be produced, waiting for a single item to be finished, then queuing up the next etc etc. Doing something that way is....well, there are no words.

Great game. Given that so many players begin their game experience with a tedious, weeks-long process of reincarnating through each of the fealties to gain their special buildings, I'd really appreciate an option to pay gold to unlock the fealty building talent for each of the fealties. I'm sure the debs are in a better position than me to figure out an appropriate gold cost per talent, but I think somewhere along the lines of 10-15 gold per talent would be a fair price.

need to show us ALL the requirements, I hate working toward some kind of bonus and then to find out its a damn CASH only feature. Why waste our time like that? Better yet, allow normal player the option to turn off all the CASH bonus on the skill/build tree.

I actually got really annoyed from the devs replies to the top comments, so yah - its a big NO for me. 3/5* for the concept. 1/5 on the execution (waiting times, no queue, etc)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game has potential, but the story-based aspect doesn't really work with the waiting mechanics -- half the time, by the time the quest is finished I've forgotten what was going on. It's probably worth playing up until the second badge (1000 power), but not much further than that as the waiting times escalate to the point where one would be logging in once per day for a few minutes which feels much more like work than a game.
