This is the third time this week I've been gypped out of my daily login bonus and sent back to Day 1 because I didn't happen to refresh the tab on that day. Seriously? It can't recognize that I was there from the fact I was clicking on stuff ALL DAY LONG? SO obnoxious.

Hahaha oh my god they didn't even test this game.

>Fealty Benefit: Undefined
Why is Kong badging games that didn't even bother to be tested?

"Oh finally, after an hour and a half of wait I can use my soldier again and maybe this game's pace will pick up again! Oh, this missions tanks TWO hours... Well, that sucks." Seriously, the time taken to do anything is outrageous.

I appreciate how the game follows the books so well. This is one of my favorite series ever and when I saw the game I had to try. I am proud say that this game is on my favorites list.

just like others said, would be great to queue items, would make life much more easier....
other than this, it's ok, nice enough to have it there

I love Game of Thrones, and decided to try this game out. There seems to be a lot of "hurry up and wait". I have everything unlocked that you can unlock at lvl 6 and its all idle. I can earn enough silver even though my upgrades are almost maxed out. I cant complete missions because I only have one sell sword because, once again, I dont have enough silver. This game is on the right track, but needs some tweaking. I can never keep a decent stock of silver to actually enjoy the game, so I find myself logging in to collect silver and immediately logging back out. This does not make me enjoy the game since it becomes a chore.

the problem with browser MMO games is that are in fact one with different theme. if you played one, you played all, and i have

Also this could do with an adventure mode where you don't have to PTP. Many of these games forget that people like old-time adventure types where just play against computer intelligence and not get themselves involved in weird dramatics people put on to get people to battle them or that they pick on others for fun. I like enjoying games not being stressed out by others' B.S.

Great fun if you have the patience for it... you can unlock a vast number of buildings and items. There's also a considerable tactical element to the gameplay and a vast GoT: Ascent community to interact with.

Ah, Game of Thrones; Where the marriage pacts just keep on coming and the timers are secretly working for your enemies.

I've not figured out who this game is for, exactly, other than people with more money than time and a rabid love for all things having the heading "Game of Thrones". The artwork is well done, yes. The writing is good quality. The gameplay is severely lacking. Yes, I could just give up some real money to buy the materials I need to do anything with my town, or I can just keep logging in twice a day to collect my silver, buy my sworn swords, and then just go through the story using them. Whoever made this game banked on the fact that people are impatient, and expected this thing to be so wildly popular that everyone would do Alliance stuff, hence why so many quests require interaction with other players. And look! PvP! That's never been done before in an online game, right?? Ugh. This is terrible. I don't even want to watch the show after this experience.

WHAT the hell is going on with this game? Speeding up doesn't work anymore and the times are messed up. 1h 20 min for producing a freaking 15 mins wood. Missing buildings. aaaah. Anyone having the same problem? Am I alone here?

I love this game. I wish, though, that there was an adventure party for things like PtP (we now have them for AvA)...or especially barters. Running around for each barter action seems like a waste of time. But then again, the rewards are great :)

a lot of free booster stuff for new players from the GoTA wiki. just remember to close your game before opening a gift link in new tab. profit and have fun (and keep this post alive, maybe). http://gotascent.wikia.com/wiki/Free_Stuff#Kongregate_Links

Love the game, but one thing that I find annoying is having to come back ever 20 minutes or so to set production and such. Yes I am aware there are upgrades for that, but if they did things such as potentially double the items produced instead, I would sure as heck be a lot happier, and I bet others would too

Aw, I was hoping I could choose which of my allies to spare. :< I would have kept Harrow. Sure, he'd scheme and stab me in the back eventually, but I'd have had fun with him in the meantime. It's so out of character for my Lord to have spared the boring one :P

@centraiadata77 1694 people have asked that they be allowed to que up items since July 14 2013, they just released a new patch and that simple thing isn't there, do you honestly think they will ever fix the game or do you think they will just pile more onto this heap and see if they can squeeze out a few more dollars.

Just waiting for 1500 power to get the heck out of here. Shame on HBO for licensing such a crappy, poorly programmed, real bad freemium content "game".
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@teemu124 huh? Are you serious, dude? It took me 8 hours to gain 1500 power. I was playing only for 30 minutes and all other time did other stuff while the my sword knights were returning from battles etc. BTW this game is one of the most horrible case of p2w I have ever seen. Some games at least try to be subtly, but not this one

How would you guys feel about a 'reverse' offer in the shop? Instead of having some random item or bundle discounted, you get your pick from every item that's ever been on sale in the shop but at a slightly higher price. I'm sure a lot of ppl would like a chance to get items from previous seasons that they might have missed at the time for some reason.

Well, I've seen many MMO games with a lot more battles to fight and exciting managing to do in the city. And yet, not all of those games had a rating as high as this one. As for Game of Thrones Ascent, it's a time waster of very low quality (I haven't noticed even simplest animations). Even cheap idle games have funner activities to offer. Figuratively, this game is like taking a walk, albeit you have to wait minutes or even hours after each little step made. I just don't believe that a game focused on constant waiting can have a rating of 4/5. It casts doubts and discredits Kongregate management in my eyes.
