I'm legit wondering if they are rigging the ratings, based off the comments there seems to be a general agreement that the game isn't a 4/5. I seriously hope Kongregate isn't compromising their rating dignity for paid ratings :O

I don't even like Game of Thrones. Then again, I honestly don't have to care in the slightest about Game of Thrones to know what to do here. Honestly, I don't even have to know what's going on here to know what to do. You want to be truthful or cunning? New ways or old ways? Family or kingdom? Pick one of each, then every time a series of choices come up, click on all the additional option choices, then pick the one that boosts the thing you want. If those numbers even matter. I don't even know if they do because I ignored the entire storyline completely. I know there was a bunch of fighting and I had to send people to do things and then wait. And then order people to build things (Or to PRODUCE SMALLFOLK), and then wait. Or to improve things, and then wait. Or to do something, and then WAIT. Or to wait, and then wait!
GAH.

Biggest problem running into is the fail rates for missions are odd. Missions with 85 percent success fail way to often. Dont even bother at 75 precent and below.

I love the detailed story and how many aspects of your character you can customize. (I finally learn new things about the show I never watched.) If this game was as functional as, say, any other RTS, I wouldn't have any objection as I don't mind the p2w (Not that I'd pay, just that it doesn't bother me). But the many, many bugs and performance issues are really bothersome. Look, I understand that this game's implementation of alliance and evolving storyline are very uncommon and it probably was hell to implement, but it's still really, really buggy. I had to refresh the game for 3-4 times and I've only been playing it for 3 hours. It's also a pain that for a game that relies so hard on relationships between players, that various manners of interacting are not explained enough. I rated it 3/5 for now, I'm curious how it evolves.

This game is addictive, but seriously FAAAAAR too much pay to win. The gap between how cheap gold is to buy and how hard it is to earn means that you either buy your way = boring, or eat the dust of those who did.

Not sure if just missed this in the tutorial but you can click on the far right of the decision making buttons if they say "random resource" or whatever and you get rewards.

when first instructed to use the sourleaf thing to reduce time length, I didn't... now the thing is stuck at 1 second left and I don't have the option to use it.

Pros - game looks beautiful, artwork is great and music is very atmospheric. building up your holdings and completing the quest lines can be fun if you are prepared to spend some real money on speed up gear.
Cons - BUGS, some as old as the game. UI is not well designed, too much clicking to perform simple actions. There is no way to manage your army or inventory except click click click through pages and pages. Most bulk tasks have to be done one click at a time - train 10 points on your sworn sword - 10 clicks; buy 100 leather armours - 100 clicks (or 200 if you clear the confirmation). The game play can get a bit boring and samey. Difficulty is implemented with a very unimaginative and frustrating chance system. The new expansion introduced a complete pay-to-win element to the game. Sort of feels like the game is on its last legs and the devs are frantically milking it for all they can.

The top comments did make me worried about what the game would be like. Little did I know it was just as they described, and even worse. Something tells me once I have the badges I won't be returning, ever.

Kongregate, what are you doing...

The best thing about this game is that it told me where that misspelling of 'sir' some people use comes from. I can't even say nice things about the volume controls, which range from "overly loud" to "I'm not risking damage to my speakers", (seriously, at the minimum non-mute setting I'm setting the flash volume to 30% and the master to 25% and it's _still_ a bit too loud).

I think its a decent game. For being free to play and pay to win. That's how most of these games are these days though.

The game is so sick. I feel like an alien. I dont't get it, what exactly i do while playing it. I've tried to read dialogues, but they scku. I dunno, i just click click click. Click here please, and then click here please. For hell what? This is really weird for 2015.

This is one of the most horribly designed "idle" games ever. Save yourself the waiting time and skip on this piece of garbage.

you know, I wasn't gonna comment here, cuz i simply cannot get past the login screen. I was gonna put it down to one of those things, but I rolled down and read some comments... Looks like I dodged a bullet. Or, at least, the crappy coding and unreliable game saved me the experience of realising for myself how crappy it is :D

I love this game don't really care who says they don't it is something to distract me from life and it's not meant to be taken seriously

That's it, I'm out of here. I tried to stay in the game after having earned the sweepstake tickets, but it turned out to be an endless waiting game, interrupted by boring and meaningless quests (consisting of picking whatever option you want, without any real difference).
