for the ghost castles I just went in with max magic and spammed the counter + 3 spell for one gem each turn. The ghosts ended up killing themselves with some help from a pair of t rexes. Easy fights.

oh another trick is that if you just want to grind a few levels next to a safe spot you can keep clicking the same tile you are in to pick a fight.

starting out best team appears to be 3x rhinos in front and 3x eagles/frogs in back. no magic worth a darn but then again picking random teams assigns you mismatched counter productive setups the vast majority of the time. Rhino's or rerolls boffo says.

Don't get me wrong, it's great to see that you got rid of the old death system where you lost levels for dying. And the new Life system does have potential. But why should I waste my time reviving my animals when they all get revived irregardless of number of lives when my entire party dies?

I dislike this even more than the original. Sure you sort of gave us the option to make our own team, but the rest is just awful. I really don't have any constructive criticism to give.

sucks compared to the first one. you either have to re-fight a lot of enemies to gain levels or you can't get past the first castle. there needs to be better/faster leveling compared to the enemies or it's no fun to get your head beat in over and over again.

Dude what is with the graphics downgrade?
Usually I try not to get tied up in graphics but this is pretty bad considering the first one was so much better.
