The first game suffered from a lot of dead air and a middle-to-endgame that dragged on to eternity. This game fixes that by adding a ton of neat little skills, buffing the magic system, adding a few magic door quests, and making party set-up interesting and fun with a rudimentary crafting system. An all-around great job!

Some suggestions: Let people hover over animals to see what they do at the party generation at the beginning so you don't have to click a dozen times to see what a few of them do.

Seems like you want people to farm the newb zone for hours in order to get a decently leveled party, only to get better animals and repeat the process (farming, new animals, farming, etc).

Seriously, what's the point of a lives feature. It makes this game from one of my favorite to one of my least favorite.

I did exceptionally well with a team of 2 ghosts and 1 shade in the back, the ghosts let you use the rez spell and the shade lets you use counterban, both of which become extremely useful at the end of the game. Try and put drain or combat action eggs on them to get more mana (by the time I was in the last area I could do a rez every other turn). In the front I had a behemoth and on either side of him a ram, at first I had power eggs on the behemoth but later found it was much more effective with either armor eggs or regen eggs. The rams I used combat action eggs on and were mainly in my party so I could constantly cast the fire spells.

Althought this trick with minotaurs and bombirds is working it is strongly not recommended. This is nice game and if u want to have fun from it play it on easy without any cheats. after u finish easy mode u will have bombirds and evrything and can replay it on normal with them.

I beat the secret place where the platypus lives but i still don't have the platypus in my roster? Have i missed something please help...

leveling up should increase stats. Due to this not happening, at the end, there are only a few viable animals to use as some are useless.

btw guys i just wanted to point this out, do NOT skip the letters that you see occaisionally, i made that mistake and then i had to backtrack through where i had been to read them because they are needed to advance through the game, they are the only way to learn the earth gate, sky pillar and dream gate skill and the skills are unlocked only after reading a certain number of letters, not reading just certain letters... so renember to READ THOSE LETTERS!!!!

Do freeze / burn cancel each other? I would understand that, BUT apparently freeze cancels freeze and burn cancels burn! That's stupid, having a freezer and especially burner with 2+ AC often leads to a skipped attack (to save the effect). I think you should change it in the sequel: at least the self-canceling part.

The forge feature is getting pretty annoying... I've wasted half my time playing because I can't seem to forge the item (specifically egg) I want... if i could suggest giving a pattern when acquiring items by dismissing your animals and when forging eggs like it start with attack then if you forge again you get armor and so on and so forth...

Like redenmity, use the roster potion mixtures. I do not know the recipe for Minotaurs or Bomb Birds but all i know is that they PWN. I have 3 Bomb Birds (Random attack) level 40 at the back row with Golden Combat Action eggs (+3) so they each have 5 Combats plus 6 Critical (with skill). 1 Minotaur (3 way attack) 10 Critical (2 starting Crit. + Golden 6 Crit. Egg + 2 Skill Crit.) in the middle. 2 Battering Rams with Golden Combat Action Eggs for 4 Actions (12 x 4 = 48 Damage!) with 2 Crit. from skill.

I think my biggest complaint is that magic that costs more than 1 is rarely used (except in the battles you drink a specific potion type, and POSSIBLY if you use a lot of guys with drain) especially with the time constraints and how fast creatures damage each other.

To those wondering about the white egg: 2 white eggs mixed with any one berry will make a random blue egg. Additional white eggs can be obtained by dismissing a recruit between level 10 and 20 (not exactly sure on upper limit, but 22 at most) but they're not very common.

A good balance is the key to victory in code this is great: T= front. W= Front all. V=Two ahead. ?=randome. T W T in front it that order And V or ? for the back in any com (my idea All V or V ? V)

wow this game is AMAZING!!! its definantly an improvement on the first one, 5/5 if you think this should have badges rate it 5/5 so it can get badges sooner!!!
