This is a decent game - but the point reward goes down hard when your level gets too high for the area you are in. You can easily find yourself spending more in fixing minor damage than you actually make fighting. In other words, easy area grinding DOES NOT WORK.

I really have to complain about the leveling system. In order to get the gold to buy the treasure chests, my characters leveled greatly. After I got my third one, on the screen to the left of the start, I stopped receiving any monetary gains. How am I supposed to buy stuff if I can't get any money? I didn't even want to level, I just needed more money. Now I have a really strong team and I can't buy anything at all.

if you want a creature that can hit hard and hit 1 solid place then go with a shark. max it and it gets and xtra action so it can dish out 16 damage per hit.
Also a tip to lvl up, go back and farm easy areas. since you get a lvl if the character lives and lose one is he dies then just farm the easy areas and you lvl up

This game is extremely fun, because of its great concept and varieties. The imagination and the levels an animal can achieve keep the fun going. However, the game is quite long, and takes some time. The reason its such a fun game is because it introduces a Pokemon card like idea, and at the same time, its simple to use and understand.

@Cubicz: No beginner instructions? What about the very first option? The nice big blue option that says "INSTRUCTIONS." Don't vote down if you didn't look.

Huh. Such a good foundation for a game - you can tell that a lot of effort went into it. I really try to like it. However, it has two features which used to be the norm for RPGs that have rapidly fallen into disfavor - and for good reason, they kill your fun - death penalty delevelling and randomized beginning stats (in this case monsters). Is the game still enjoyable? Yeah, but not as much as it could have been.

So the magic clan is the easiest way, best heals, has a revive, and if you combo puppets and ghosts with the AC upgrade in the final area you absolutely wreck.

dirktheone When monster die they dont go back lvl 0 again they just lost 1 lvl, and you will earn this lvl again after next fight win.
I use 3 ghost 3 puppet team i like the 12 hp heal all and the 80% revive ally in fight
In the beginning if you dont like your team just back main menu and new campaign again
same thing for randomize new animals , just save and load (2 sec).

Though I lost to the last battle with this team one time (then win again with the same team), I think that this team is not only strong but cute, three puppets in the front row and three ghosts in the back row at max level.
Choose this because, all of them are magic and have still have some other magic abilities in this group, create unknowingly serious damage, and don't have to move to create damage.
For this game, cute but 4/5 because the magic section is actually unnoticable.

it needs to not randomnize back to same animal.. it wastes it.. i randominzed to same animal 5tiems in a row.. waste of points

level system is the worst i have ever seen!!it is completely annoying!!And also it has very small effect to your creatures...

Fun game :D, I love my team of 6 cobras, bring enemies down to low life and cast the lvl 3 shadow spell that brings all my guys back and then I slaughter them :D

I have found that the best combo to use for very quick progress after you start gaining money, to buy randomizer points, has to be Three Trikes up in front, and Three Gold Dragons in back. Once they all reach level 50, you will be able to come up of every battle without having to heal, even more so if you buy the Increased Auto Heal for 150.

Oh, I know. Let's have a user interface where the button you're trying to click runs away from you. That'll be fun for everybody!

i think theres a better combo then dragon. vultures at lvl 50 can do 5 damage with 3 attacks if u go left first u can get the vulture and gold dragons at the beginning of the game. recommend starting going right first tho and get a lion and a whale once ur party is lvl 30ish theres no stopping u from winning ur way up to lv50 i agree with ditching lvl loss when u die aspect and spacing out each level. make it easy to get to lvl 30 but harder to lv50 once the party is lv50 its only matter of strategy of where u place ur units and which spells u use heal for lower lvl maps and damage for higher lvl maps overall i like the game but the set up could use some changes like the dial at the battle screen instead of making it move just keep it still and maybe incorporate battle scene (with setting option on/off) oh and add a story to it XD

I get the feeling the randomiser isn't random. I used about 200 on one animal and got the same 6 over and over, often the same one half a dozen times in a row. Now one may argue that is random but it feels like the game has a bias...

i think the game was a missed swing. the game itself was boring, the level sytem stunk, and the AI would seem to pick one of my units and only attack that single creatureso that i would have all level 30 creatures except one level 2 the whole way through. i dont mean to sound like an angry person but i really found it very lazy of you to only have the creatures gain 1 to any stat every 5-6 levels, and they lose a level if they die? you sir have wasted my time

You should replce 'random' with 'change' or 'repick', which gives you another creature with the same clan but totally randomized creature. say, it would be fun to trade a fire bat with a ravaging fire clan shark. this game needs creative improvements so 4/5. feel free to +.

Starting is hell if you get a trash team, but once you get leveled up everything turns into cake and its just tedious clickfest going through each battle, and in the end all you get is a single boring "CLEAR" message for finishing the game :( How did this get badges?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the game but i agree , its not like your rewarded for managing to keep every animal alive ,because towards the end you need them maxed , its more like your being punished .
