Too easy. Literally no gameplay, and probably the easiest hard badges ever. All you have to do is look for castles, then go through the gates, and capture that big castle. Completed without ever doing anything else. Don't bother camping anywhere else, or saving. It took me like, 3 minutes. It'd be nice if I could have used the animals.

and going off of o0NaPaLM0o's tip of using normal dragons: try to get a gold dragon once or twice in that mix. They normally give one point of higher damage than normal dragons, and once you buy the power up for Brute's they'll deal 9 points of damage every strike, gaining a second one at level 50. Also, if you throw in one werewolf in stead of a puppet, you'll get 18 points per three shots, making it a killer. It has a counter of 2 and when in a Shadow area, can gain another counter shot and normal point. My team is a puppet, two shadows, one normal dragon and a gold dragon, as well as a werewolf. We're dominating.

I really like this game. The levels are a pain in the butt, but its still a good game. Loosing a lever makes me think harder about who to switch and when

For people who don't understand the randomiser, here is a big hint. Once in game, the randomiser is *area dependent*. When you find (fight) a creature that you want in your team, go to the shop *in that area*, buy some randomisers, and use them. You should get the creature you want in 5-10 tries. For example; if you want a phoenix in your team go to the fire area (second on the left path).

You should replce 'random' with 'change' or 'repick', which gives you another creature with the same clan but totally randomized creature. say, it would be fun to trade a fire bat with a ravaging fire clan shark. this game needs creative improvements so 4/5. feel free to +.

Randomizer tips:
1) When starting a new game, all creatures are available (crappy and rare alike)Â
2) Once you have started the campaign, the creature obtained depend on the level of current creature (higher level = better random creature)

item system is ultra bugged i buy things that i don't find in the inventory i go to the shop to buy more and suddenly my inventory is full again, and the money...are just fluctuating for no reason, fix it please

I get the feeling the randomiser isn't random. I used about 200 on one animal and got the same 6 over and over, often the same one half a dozen times in a row. Now one may argue that is random but it feels like the game has a bias...

I really have to complain about the leveling system. In order to get the gold to buy the treasure chests, my characters leveled greatly. After I got my third one, on the screen to the left of the start, I stopped receiving any monetary gains. How am I supposed to buy stuff if I can't get any money? I didn't even want to level, I just needed more money. Now I have a really strong team and I can't buy anything at all.

This is a decent game - but the point reward goes down hard when your level gets too high for the area you are in. You can easily find yourself spending more in fixing minor damage than you actually make fighting. In other words, easy area grinding DOES NOT WORK.

@Cubicz: No beginner instructions? What about the very first option? The nice big blue option that says "INSTRUCTIONS." Don't vote down if you didn't look.

1. Best creature group is, 3 Trike in front, 3 Dragons in back, The Permanent upgrades just make it better. You can get both of these on the map just left of start. 2. Save OFTEN if you are religious about it you'll never have a problem with Exp loss. 3. Level up in start zone, it doesn't matter the enemies level, you always gain a level after a fight. Plus this up if you find it helpful.

Sometimes there is a bug where after a battle the victory screen appears but pressing the green arrow does nothing and I have to restart. Luckily I saved beforehand, but fix this please.

This game reminds me of monsters den. I don't really like the idea of losing levels when you die because it sort of spoils the fun. Good game though, 4/5.

once u beat the game if u load on it u can start over with access to dark in randomizer at beggining[perfect for if u wanna introduce a friend to it and let him or her have a better time, less deaths] :>Gl on beating those bosses o.o go with the strategy up top it worked for me

mantis listen it doesnt matter if one cant level up you can do like i do and get your highest hp person at the lions spot when its about to die or get a healer creature

Losing levels on death, a death which cannot be avoided given the combat system, and then you have to fight to get back to the shop? what kind a sadistic fun-destroying idea is that? could never get my lion past lvl 0 because he was the center of my formation and died pretty much every fight, yet he could not get stronger because his xp was constantly revoked. Seriously one of the stupidest leveling systems ever imagined.

Put three lions in the front line, and three ghosts in the rear. The AC+1 bonus for magic animals doubles the power of the ghosts and all the animals get an addtional AC+1 bonus at level 50. Maxed out, the lions do 16 damage to all enemies and the ghosts a total of 18 each. So that's total damage of 16*3 + 16*2 + 16*2 ( =112 for the lions) + 18*3 (=54 for the ghosts). Grand total is 166 damage in the first turn! The random attack of the ghosts is great for "mopping up" whatever's left standing after the first turn without having to move units around. Nothing stands a chance against that lineup.

if you want a creature that can hit hard and hit 1 solid place then go with a shark. max it and it gets and xtra action so it can dish out 16 damage per hit.
Also a tip to lvl up, go back and farm easy areas. since you get a lvl if the character lives and lose one is he dies then just farm the easy areas and you lvl up

Wow would it kill the randomizer to give me the right beast? Is there any other way I can achieve my three puppet/three brute drags?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
losing levels on death is the stupidest feature ive seen in anygame
if we couldnt beat it the first time what makes you think we can beat it the second time when we're even weaker?

I hate how every battle you don't go directly back to the map makes it even more annoying when your trying to cross a map and get caught in a fight ever other space. you should be able to go to the shop ANYTIME instead of taking five minuets to go all the way back to heal the proceed and level loss is just stupid.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The combat system is utter crap. It makes no sense; it's deceptively simple in concept, and yet has nonsensical structure that allows the CPU to win by exploiting your stupidity and win by forcing the timer to run out. Unless your goal was to make a game that pisses off everyone who plays it, you failed miserably with this one.

personally i like ghosts or at least a random attacking unit (not restricted to attacking in from of them) Pinocchio does do alot of damage but takes half of it himself =/ so its a double edge sword

i think theres a better combo then dragon. vultures at lvl 50 can do 5 damage with 3 attacks if u go left first u can get the vulture and gold dragons at the beginning of the game. recommend starting going right first tho and get a lion and a whale once ur party is lvl 30ish theres no stopping u from winning ur way up to lv50 i agree with ditching lvl loss when u die aspect and spacing out each level. make it easy to get to lvl 30 but harder to lv50 once the party is lv50 its only matter of strategy of where u place ur units and which spells u use heal for lower lvl maps and damage for higher lvl maps overall i like the game but the set up could use some changes like the dial at the battle screen instead of making it move just keep it still and maybe incorporate battle scene (with setting option on/off) oh and add a story to it XD

3x Puppet 3x Ghost Upped with AP +1 bonus it is much better than dragons party. A little bit slower than other builds, but that party actually do something after you clear front row. Btw, last world is Magic enviroment, so they have another additional AP. Sadly, not in castles. And because they are all Magic creatures, healing spells are more effective on all party.

nothin beats 4 reg dragons an 2 golds. i think the only way to get golds is at start and it takes a while to get this party right but unbeatable. the brute/fire magic combo is devastating and you get a grand total of 12 attacks for 7 DA apeice against the WHOLE ENEMY PARTY!!!

I suggest that you must have 2 battering rams, 1 Puppet and 3 dragons(any type) gives you a sure win on any type of battle. That's because the foe's front line could easily be destroyed in this type of army.
