Somehow, I have a hard time believing that my newly hatched pet moth really left all these giant turds around that I'm supposed to clean up...

especiallty given that it took over 3 weeks of begging "friends" to help me get thru a section that left me stagnant and clearing an already finished field. in other words, gaining absolutely no ground whatsoever. for over 3 weeks. yet i have less than 4 days to finish what was more than likely a one time only mini event? that blows. get rid of all things requiring the help of other players. some of us just come here to play a game and get our minds off of our real lives for awhile, not to "socialize" with people we dont actually know and more then likely never will. you want me to spend money? give me that game experience.

there was to much to obtain to complete the time traveler mini game in the time given. some of us cant spend all day on here even if we want to. the limited time stuff should be a little easier to finish. less stuff to gather. especially when its a 2 or 3 day time frame. just sayin. really wanted to know how the scenario ended as back to the future is one of my all time favorite movie series.

I used my power whack on a bush. It filled my power meter again. And again. And again. The streak ended after three more tries.

just a thought
there's something kinda marxist about the narrative of this game. If Bushwhacking (the word itself has all sorts weird colonial overtones) is the means of production, it's a completely decentralized one. so even though there is scarcity, (usually through creative illogic - no one really needs 40 paintbrushes) hierarchical labor relations are impossible within the game's economy.
And there's the whole implication that other people have different jobs and that only the bushwhacker bushwhacks. but it seems like very few of them are actually productive, and at most some of them do classically fulfilling work with the products the bushwhacker provides. which, again, sounds like a marxist utopia.
I guess simulating an economy without the complexity of production is easier. It's interesting to notice, though, how capitalist micro-economies develop later in the game (pagas, alchemy), once the bushwhacker's powers of production are clearly demarcated.

fishing on this game is more boring then real freshwater fishing. we need to be able to pick from optional quests on the island. especially if two out of three of the quests on the same day are fishing. like today.

Honestly 20 Dollar for the mana-fountain??? If u made it 5 Dollars maybe. But 20!?!?!? Does Kongregate get 90% of the cash?

Why does it take years for the combining table at the alchemist to tell people that the combination failed, let the text be there for like one second, maybe even just half a second.

@lordfestivus All you got to do is add anyone who dares to speak in the chat so that you know that they play at least. Also every 2 days you can ask again. Now if you have no friends then invite some! Now bush bucks are not required to progress in the game. They can speed up progress but honestly I think its better to save them for something really cool or helpful. Also you get 4 bush bucks if you play 7 days in a row.

need to be able to get past things without the need of friends or bush bucks. if you have neither you effectively are stuck, at say for instance the damn rattlesnake in the desert. had this game rated at 5 stars until this very moment. now 4 stars because i cant move forward any longer. no game on kong should be rated 5 stars unless you can actually finish or continue for that matter without spending real money or having to rely on "friends".
