There's still a problem with cheap hits from the first game. It seems that Achilles ALWAYS swings slower than the enemies he fights both in Achilles and this one.

Honestly the jump spear attack thing was godly,glorious,and gashing against enemies in this game and in the movie(Achillies vs Boagriusss Boagriuss being pwned by a jump attack)applause to you for the over powered combo of block,jump,spear(or sword) to the face :D

A great polish of yoru original game! I would ask that you, in the future, design an RPG "upgrade" system for the Achilles' move and some combos for some added depth, and something to even out the transition between levels and chapters. Give us a sense of progression.

it really fricken sucks when at the last level on the trojan war you get stuck in between a couple of swordsmen and a spearman. litteraly imposible to get out of that situation without dying

Could use quite a few touch ups... like... actually kicking a head when next to one and clicking the 'kick the head' button...

Love the game but fed up with it constantly freezing when playing survival mode. I'll be going along nicely and suddenly Achilles will freeze but the game continues (i.e. I can't move while the enemies just kill me). No common cause or thing that happens before freezing.

for the 3rd boss i fully died came back didnt die and he didnt even hit me he kept going backwards i kept on going forwards attacking i felt proud

Good Game, yet some diversity in the attacks/weapons would go a long way. Maybe even build in a 'shop' to buy/upgrade weapons and equipment. The Survival Mode is lots of fun though thanks. 4/5

this game is one of the best games in kongregate very fun killing also those close ups kills there its the best way to kill an enemy and it thought me how to defend myself against holdapers haha.

Fun game, but the controls are far too limited. I have an entire keyboard at my disposal, yet only two buttons are used for attacking. Adding a control for spear throwing alone would mean I wouldn't end up accidentally launching javelins every time I pick one up.

So, if your ever on a Greek battlefield, I'll be the one on archer killing duty.
Also, it seems in this game, spear-men do more than hold my next throwing spear.

jumping and then stabbing needs to be easier like instead of perfect hits achilles needs to be jumping towards the enemy so that when he crashes down he's in perfect placement for a kill. I mean com'n he's Achilles!

great game with some really challenging aspects but i have two things to say to people
1)the swordman is ruthless, yes but would you expect mercy in real war.
2) my complaint is that as long as u have the spear the bosses are way too easy.

On reading a few of the previous comments I noticed that many were complaining that it's hard to perform a finish kill. It works fine for me. What you must be doing is that you're pressing an arrow key while jumping. Don't. Just press the jump key when you think you are close enough to a fallen enemy. Do NOT press any other key. And there you have a successfully performed finish kill. Hope this helps.

Better than the original Achilles. I expected more, though. Like, a different set of controls altogether, and highly different from the Warlords: Heroes or Achilles games. Still, good game, deserves 4 stars, I give 3 because I really wanted a much different gaming expereince.
