My strategy throughout the game was basically just "kick, kick, jump!" Not the most inventive, but it's effective if you're quick about it. I beat the game, complete all the achievements, look down at the comments, and apparently people are having difficulty with the executions. I literally figured that out in the first level. Insta-kill for the win, guys.

Very fun, but Chapter 5 got unbelievably frustrating at times. I had three main problems:
1. Enemies can stunlock you very easily, not even letting you block or jump, which led to me losing almost all of my health bar in a couple of seconds at some points.
2. I really wish Achilles didn't jump like he's on the damn moon; sometimes when I'm trying to jump on an enemy to finish them off, Achilles' jump takes so long, the enemy has gotten up by the time I've come back down.
3. When I finally beat Hector at the end of Chapter 5, we somehow killed each other at the exact same time, so it played the 'boss death' animation but then cut to the game over screen and booted me back to the start of the chapter, which was very annoying.

The main problem with this game is that when you get hit you get stunned for less then half of the time between enemy swordsman attacks, so when your against 2 of them they stagger you attacks and you can't do shit until your dead
i would recommend one of the following: a) Use shield to get close then break a knee of one, then back away and then kill the other. b) use a running shield bash to knock over one, then kill the other c) use a jumping attack to kill one of them. d) Throw a spear at them e) kick a head at them to knock one over

Archer: Shoots for 10 Minutes at Achilles.
Spearman: Only Attacks While Blocking.
Swordsman: Swings Sword At Air.

Yup just worked out to perform executions properly you're only supposed to click up not pressing any other directional buttons, you should note that if you want it to remain the case. Having the option to press down as well as up would still make it more fun. Please do adjust the head kicking perimeters. Thanks for the response! Just finished the game. Was fun while it lasted :)

Jumping up should be optional. What's wrong with pressing down & instant kills being easy and making you feel powerful? Nothing. If you feel it makes the game easy, add more numbers to the enemy team. Otherwise the gameplay feels flawed and I personally feel stupid jumping around on the enemies corpse 3 times before spontaneously deciding to finish him off at last.

If there is an enemy on one side of me and a downed one on the other, I can't kill the downed one and it causes me to die because he gets up and rapes me. Make the archers able to shoot enemies that are on the same side of me as the archer so that the arrows don't go through people.

First three bosses are easy if you know how.
Stage 1: Attack first, then keep attacking with sword.
Stage 2: Block, then attack when he has just attacked.
Stage 3: Use spear (enough said).
The thing is, the last two have no easy way to kill them...

A great polish of yoru original game! I would ask that you, in the future, design an RPG "upgrade" system for the Achilles' move and some combos for some added depth, and something to even out the transition between levels and chapters. Give us a sense of progression.

it really fricken sucks when at the last level on the trojan war you get stuck in between a couple of swordsmen and a spearman. litteraly imposible to get out of that situation without dying
